Citgo gas station in Houston flies American flag at half staff to ‘mourn’ the death of Hugo Chavez
If there’s one thing that’s good in California, it’s that there aren’t many Citgo gas stations out here. Citgo is the Venezuelan-owned oil company who decided to fly the American flag at half-staff in Houston, Texas to mourning the death of Hugo Chavez. Yes, our flag is being flown at half-staff to mourn the loss of a socialist dictator.

Citgo confirmed with KHOU 11 News that its flags, including the U.S. flag, would be lowered for the late president. The company said it would release a statement later in the day.
