Today on Face the Nation, Bob Schieffer declared that with the 50th anniversary of the JFK assassination coming up, that nothing like this had ever happened before. No president has ever been assassinated before Mr. Schieffer? Did you forget your 1st grade history lessons about Abraham Lincoln? The first US President assassinated while in office? How about James Garfield or William McKinley? While these two were lesser known American presidents, they were still assassinated while POTUS.

Maybe the media wasn’t in love with any of the other presidents as much as JFK before they were killed. JFK got the Obama treatment from the media back in the 1960’s before he was assassinated in Dallas. Of course, looking back at history, JFK was actually a decent president, and loved this country unlike the current POS we have now.
Remember, according to CBS’ Bob Schieffer, nothing like the JFK assassination ever happened before, except it did.
