CGI Federal executive and pal of Michelle donated big to Obama’s campaigns
Not only is Toni Townes-Whitley BFFs with Michelle Obama since their days at Princeton, but Toni Townes-Whitley also just so happens to be a pretty big Obama donor too. What difference does it make? Toni Townes-Whitley just so happens to be an executive at CGI Federal, the company that was awarded a no-bid contract to create the non-working healthcare.gov website. Yet again, another amazing coincidence in Chicago cronyism. Not only that, but according to Fox News, the president of CGI Federal became on Obama 2012 donor shortly after CGI federal was given the no-bid contract.
According to Federal Election Commission Records, Townes-Whitley gave $500 in 2011 and 2012 to Obama’s reelection campaign, and another $1,000 to the Obama Victory Fund.
Election records also show that Townes-Whitley’s boss, George Schindler, the president for U.S. and Canada for CGI Federal’s parent company CGI Group, became an Obama 2012 campaign donor after his company won the ObamaCare contract.
