So far this report of ISIS attacking and capturing al-Asad air base in Iraq with over 300 US Marines in unconfirmed. Let’s hope it remains that way and this early report was just false.

One thing has been confirmed. Fighting has been reported at al-Baghdadi in Iraq.

ISIS seizing al-Asad air base would really be surprising to me. That’s why you and I need to take these initial reports with a grain of salt.
