Lenny Curry, a Republican has beaten incumbent Democrat Alvin Brown and will become the next mayor of Jacksonville Florida. The Jacksonville mayor race was close. at the time of this post, with 98% of the vote counted, and 198 of 200 counties counted, Curry leads Brown 102,518 to 97,298 votes. This is yet another epic failure for Democrats who were expecting Alvin Brown to waltz to re-election in Jacksonville. Progressive liberal Democrats like Alvin Brown are collapsing all over the country.
