CNBC GOP debate candidates must have 3% – bye bye Rand

CNBC will hold the next GOP debate on October 28th. Their rules for qualifying for the debate are out. Candidates must have an average of at least 3% in “recognized national polls.” This means Rand Paul is likely out of the CNBC debate unless he gets a sudden poll bump as he continues to flounder. Personally, I think the poll average should be at 5%. This means at this point there would be eight candidates in the primetime CNBC GOP debate. Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Kasich, Bush, Christie and Huckabee would be in the debate. The CNBC GOP debate will be held in Colorado.
