14 people shot in 15 hours in Chicago – media silent

Some shootings are more newsworthy than others to the leftists media. In Chicago on Monday, 14 people were shot in a matter of just 15 hours. One of the victims included an 11 month old baby, and another was a two-year-old toddler. Did you hear Obama screaming and throwing a tantrum over this like he did the Oregon shooting yesterday? No. Plus, Obama is from Chicago, you would think that if he is so against gun violence, he would want to stop it in his own home city.

What about the corrupt liberal media that has been harping on the Oregon shooting as a need for more gun control? Did you hear a peep out of them? Of course not. You know why don’t you? It’s because Obama lackey Rahm Emanuel is the Mayor of Chicago, so they don’t want to embarrass him for being the epic failure that he is.

Chicago’s record of 14 people being shot in the space of 15 hours, starting Monday evening is nothing to be proud of, especially coming after a weekend of violence that left four dead and another 52 people injured.

In the one shooting that took place Monday night in the Back of the Yards neighborhood of the city, two women, one of them pregnant, two men and a child, coming home from an outing were gunned down in a barrage of bullets. Both men sustained injuries, leaving one of them in critical condition in a local hospital.
“You have an innocent family coming home from a family outing. Somebody opens fire on two women, a child and two men,” Chicago Deputy Police Chief Eugene Roy told the media. “In a second, two generations of that child’s family were wiped out.”
The violence Chicago has been experiencing is reminiscent of Chicago in the “Roaring Twenties,” except that it is worse for its randomness. Monday’s bloodbath followed two weekends in a row during which the city saw more than 50 shot. According to the Chicago Tribune, this alarming statistic “is a first” since the paper began keeping track of shootings about four years ago.
