Three officers were shot in Palm Springs on Saturday, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.
The shooting occurred near Cypress and Del Lago roads in Palm Springs just after 1 p.m., reported NBC4 affiliate KMIR.
The officers had responded to “some type” of a family disturbance call before the shooting occurred, said an officer with the Palm Springs Police Department.The conditions of the officers was unknown.
Palms Springs police said they were actively searching for the shooter around 3 p.m. Friday, and were working on evacuating residents living on several blocks.
