While not my first choice, the Senate has confirmed South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley to become US ambassador to the UN. Haley will replace the disaster known as Samantha Power who was Obama’s US ambassador to the UN. Haley was confirmed with a 95-4 vote margin. I guess the Communist Democrats couldn’t really vote against her, expect for a handful. Earlier today, Ben Carson was confirmed as HUD Secretary. Seems Democrats are going to focus on a few of Trump cabinet picks to obstruct and let the others pass.
