At a campaign event Joe Biden calls on a Missouri state senator to stand up and be recognized. And then the Democratic vice-presidential candidate realizes that local pol Chuck Graham is wheelchair-bound. Worse, Obama’s running mate compounds the embarrassment by urging the crowd to stand up instead: “Stand up for Chuck!”
