Oh, and Buerkle was also endorsed by Sarah Palin too. All those left wing media hacks who thought this would hurt Buerkle even more in a district like this have gotten their own slap in the face. The official win of this seat now puts the GOP at a 63 seat gain in the 2010 midterm elections, with about three seats still undecided. The GOP now will hold at least 242 seats int he 112th congress! Time Magazine painfully posted Maffei’s concession statement. The Republican takeover of the House now stands at 62 seats with 4 more undecided as progressive liberal Marxist Solomon Ortiz has conceded to Blake Farenthold in the race for Texas 27th Congressional District. Republicans now how 241 seats for the 112th Congress, the most in over 60 years! Unlike most sore loser progressive liberal Marxists like Bob Etheridge or Alan Grayson, Ortiz was at least graceful in his concession and announcement upon losing.

“With great respect and admiration in the Democratic process, I congratulate my opponent, Mr. R. Blake Farenthold, in his election to the 27th Congressional District of Texas in the U.S. House of Representatives.”
“I wish him well. I ask Mr. Farenthold, as I have done so for the past 27 years, to represent every one of his constituents in this Congressional District. I respectfully urge him to continue to: spur economic growth in South Texas; reduce the unemployment rate; help working families succeed; provide affordable health care for all Americans; secure our U.S.-Mexico border from violence and drug war; and ensure America can continue to be a land of freedom, opportunity and prosperity for all.”

Ortiz has been the only representive this district has ever had since it was created back in 1983. He was elected with 63% of the vote in 2004, 57% in 2006 and 58% in 2008. You remember Bob Etheridge don’t you? He’s the one who physically assaulted a student on a Washington DC street back in July, and kept saying “Who are you?”

Etheridge WAS a six-term Congressman and released a whiny, snotty statement announcing his decision (From CNN):

“Now, the election recount has concluded, and the numbers confirm that despite the incredible support we had – and neither candidate getting to 50% – in the end we came up just a little too short. The combination of the national tide that swept the country, massive amounts of secret corporate cash funding a campaign of distortions, and dirty politics by Washington, DC partisan operatives was just too much to overcome,” Etheridge said in the statement, with a swipe at the tone of a campaign season where mud slinging was paramount.

Bye bye jackwagon. Now if someone sees Etheridge on the street, maybe they’ll say to him WHO ARE YOU?

Poor little losers. You know how progressive liberal Democrats always like to mock Glenn Beck for his crying? Or even John Boehner when he cried on November 2nd when the Republicans crushed the Democrats? I wonder what these same Marixsts will say about the crying losers on the House floor today? According to The Hill, losers Debbie Halvorson and Dina Titus had to wipe away the tears as they returned to the House floor for the last time in their political careers after losing their re-election bid. Had I known these progressive liberals were going to pull a Glenn Beck, i would have helped “spread the wealth” and sent them a box of Kleenex.

Contrast this with victorious Republicans who slapped backs, shook hands and laughed with each other, while their dejected Democratic colleagues huddled in clusters consoling themselves.

Obama has set yet another record! According to RedState, in the last 60 years of midterm election loses, Obama has absolutely shattered the the previous records for his own party’s losses. While there are still anywhere from 8 to 10 seats still undecided at this point, CNN is projecting that after the final set of seats are decided, Republicans will have gained a total of 65 seats in the 2010 midterms. If the CNN projections are correct, this would give Republicans 243 seats and Democrats only 192.
That being said I missed this revealing moment last night on the show where Huckabee obtained an exclusive video of a federal contractor in Alaska telling his employees to vote for Murkowski because she is on the appropriations subcommittee. The contractor goes on to claim that if Murkowski loses “neither of his opponents” will be on the appropriations subcommittee, basically trying to scare to workers into either voting for Murkowski, or they would be at risk of losing their jobs.

The federal contractor went on to say that:

“She is a write-in candidate and you’ve got to spell her name right”

Allen West is coming for the Congressional Black Caucus and he’s going to revoke their race card! In a radio interview on the Steve Malzberg Show, West said he will be a voice of reason and conservative values and join the Congressional Black Caucus. Regardless if the current caucus of nothing but progressive liberals likes it or not. This is going to be so fun!

On the other side, West also discussed the despicable actions of his opponent Ron Klein, who apparently handed out flyers with Allen West’s social security number on it, harassed West’s wife, and made life for his family a living hell during the campaign. The disgusting Klein took over 36 hours to call West after he won and asked him sarcastically “how’s your family.” West said “See you in the transition meeting” and hung up on Klein. I don’t know what’s been more painful for the left wing nuts. The fact they got so badly destroyed in the House and state elections, or the fact that two Hispanic became Governors and two African Americans took House seats away from the “lily-white” Democrats that once held them. Yes, I said lily-white, its a term Politico used to describe the “Republican Conference.” Of course this pales in comparison to calling ANYONE on the right their “Alan Grayson”, let alone an honorable former Army colonel like Allen West, who beat lily-white progressive liberal Democrat Ron Klein in Florida’s 22nd District.

West, a former Army colonel, doesn’t stand out simply because he will be one of just two African American House Republicans — he’ll get noticed for different reasons. A passionate address to a tea party gathering turned him into YouTube sensation and later in the campaign he drew attention for his relationship with the Outlaws motorcycle gang. Like Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, West is a strong tea party voice with a flair for bombastic rhetoric and a prolific fundraiser. Some expect he’ll become the Alan Grayson of the right.

How pathetic has Politico become to spew something as disgusting as this? Obviously, they just can’t handle the fact an African-American man took the seat away from a lily-white guy/

Wah! The cries of a cheater like Alex Sink are funny. While Obama is toxic to the Democrat party and the country overall, blaming him for your weak campaign and cheating in a debate against Rick Scott is so typically progressive liberal. Blame the other guy. Alex Sink is described by Politico as a “centrist Democrat”, which is complete and utter BS. Of course, they would probably describe Harry Reid in the same way. Anyway, Politico conducted an interview with cheater Sink and she basically called the Obama regime: “Tone Deaf.” While this is definitely true, then why did and why does Sink support the majority of the Obama regime’s policies? It’s amazing what happens to these progressive liberal Democrats when they actually lose because of them.

“I faced headwinds from Washington that I liken to a tsunami and was going up against a guy who had unlimited resources,” Sink said. “I could have overcome either one but not both.”

“[People] preferred to vote for somebody with questionable ethics than for somebody who was associated with the Washington Democratic agenda,” the Floridian said.

Sink said there is a disconnect between the White House and the rest of the country.

“I think they were tone-deaf,” she said. “They weren’t interested in hearing my opinion on what was happening on the ground with the oil spill. And they never acknowledged that they had problems with the acceptance of health care reform.”

Hey “Alex!” You live by the progressive liberal polices and you SINK by the progressive liberal policies. Here’s a tissue to wipe away the tears.

I can see transparency from my house! What Obama claimed would be a hallmark of his reign of terror (transparency) is coming. Not from Obama or the Marxist Democrats still remaining after the landslide election, but from te Republicans who destroyed the Marxists in the past election. According The Blaze, David Dreier, a Republican congressman from of all places, California has sent a letter addressed to the House chief administrative officer Dan Strodel, ordering that video cameras be installed in the hearing room so citizens can keep an eye on Congress.

“Given the important nature of our work, my Republican Rules Committee colleagues and I have repeatedly requested that the majority undertake the installation of cameras in the Rules Committee hearing room to the end that we begin webcasting our proceedings,” Dreier wrote. According to The Hill, the personal letter emphasized the GOP’s interest in “genuine openness and transparency.” Currently, the Rules Committee hearing room is one of only three without cameras — the others being the ethics and Intelligence committee rooms.

As it currently stands at the time of this post, the GOP has gained a total of 61 House of Representive seats, giving them a total of 240 seats. The 112th Congress will be the the first time since 1948 that Democrats have fewer than 200 seats. There are still ten seats that haven’t had declared winners yet. Of the ten seats, four of them show Republicans leading. Assuming they win those, that would give the GOP a 65 seat gain. Of course with the voter fraud and corruption by progressive liberal Democrats, don’t be surprised if any of these seats suddenly find a massive amount of late Democrat votes. Jim Geraghty of National Review Online has a summary of the remaining ten seats, and where they stand at this time:

Jim Costa vs. Andy Vidak (GOP) in California’s 20th district: Vidak leads by 1,823 votes.

Solomon Ortiz vs. Blake Farenthold (GOP) in Texas’s 27th district. Farenthold leads by 799 votes.

Dan Maffei vs. Ann Marie Buerkle (GOP) in New York’s 25th district. Buerkle leads by 659 votes. This one is interesting considering it was ranked as “Leans Democrat”

Melissa Bean vs. Joe Walsh (GOP) in Illinois’s 8th district. Walsh leads by 553 votes. This is another one that “Leaned Democrat” This is of course Illinois, so expect Democrat fraud

Jerry McNerney vs. David Harmer (GOP) in California’s 11th district. Harmer trails by 121 votes. (This one was considered “Leans GOP”)

Rick Larsen vs. John Koster (GOP) Washington’s 2nd district. Koster candidate trails by 507 votes.

Ben Chandler vs. Andy Barr (GOP) Kentucky’s 6th district. Barr trails by 600 votes.

Gerry Connolly vs. Keith Fimian (GOP) Virginia’s 11th district. Fimian trails by 920 votes.

Gabrielle Giffords vs. Jesse Kelly (GOP) in Arizona’s 8th district. Kelly trails by 2,356 votes.

Raul Grijalva vs. Ruth McClung (GOP) in Arizona’s 7th district. McClung trails by 4,083 votes.

Adam Smith vs. Richard Muri in Washington’s 9th district. The AP has called this race for Smith, the incumbent Democrat, with a 12,000 vote margin, but only 77 percent of ballots have been counted.

According to progressive liberal Democrats, their beatdown in the polls during the midterms was merely due to a “messaging problem”, and not that people dislike their progressive policies. So according to the exit polls conducted by CNN that show big changes for traditional Democratic voters, they were merely just stupid and didn’t hear the write message on Stimulus, ObamaCARE, Wall Street takeover, car company takeovers. etc.

This November, less than half of women voters selected Democrats for Congress, 49 percent, and 48 percent broke for Republicans. This ties 2002 as the lowest ever female vote for Democrats. Conversely, the male vote for Republicans was the highest ever. Fifty-six percent of men voted for Republican candidates, setting another record for the GOP. Forty-two percent of men voted for Democrats.

The polls also reveal the big shifts in voters over 65, and blue collar voters. Obviously, all these people are either stupid, maybe they are RAAAAAAAAAAAAAACIST!

According to Hotline On Call, Republicans picked up 680 seats in state legislatures, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures — the most in the modern era. In the 1994 GOP “wave”, Republicans picked up “only” 472 seats. The 680 seat pick up by Republicans destroyed the previous high which was in 1974 after Watergate when Democrats gained 628 seats!

The GOP gained majorities in at least 14 state house chambers. They now have unified control — meaning both chambers — of 26 state legislatures.

That control is a particularly bad sign for Democrats as they go into the redistricting process. If the GOP is effective in gerrymandering districts in many of these states, it could eventually lead to the GOP actually expanding its majority in 2012.

Republicans now hold the redistricting “trifecta” — both chambers of the state legislature and the governorship — in 15 states. They also control the Nebraska governorship and the unicameral legislature, taking the number up to 16. And in North Carolina — probably the state most gerrymandered to benefit Democrats — Republicans hold both chambers of the state legislature and the Democratic governor does not have veto power over redistricting proposals.
