People in Ohio are opposed of gay marriage by a 52 percent to 35 percent margin according to left wing PPP poll
PPP is a leftwing polling outfit used by among others, the Daily Kos. So anytime there is a blow out against a left wing candidate or cause, you can probably add between five to ten points to the margin against the liberal. The story about Ohio’s support (or lack of support) for gay marriage didn’t even get it’s own story on PPP. Instead, it’s buried in some poll between Senate candidates Sherrod Brown (or S. Campbell Brown) and Josh Mandel. I predict that Obama’s desperate pandering to gays in order to fund raise has cost him any chances he had at North Carolina and probably Virginia. I never thought Ohio was this much against gay marriage. Obama’s pathetic pandering may have cost him Ohio too.

Gutsy call! Marxist Democrats considering moving their summer convention out of North Carolina after gay marriage ban
Obama’s announcement that she suddenly flip-flopped on gay marriage (because he was desperate for gay donations) has really reshaped the election already. Gay marriage wouldn’t exactly be a pressing issue coming November election day, but the people in some states wouldn’t exactly be thrilled with Obama’s flip-flop. A day after 61% of North Carolina voters voted to ban gay marriage in their state. Now Marxist Democrats are in a tizzy, and considering removing their summer convention from North Carolina. After all is said an done, North Carolina is no longer a battle ground state. The Republicans will win the state easily in November after the Democrat meltdown. I also thing Virginia will be a lot easier for Romney to win in November now too because of the Democrat freak out. They should really consider Cuba in August. I know it’ll be a bit humid there, but they’d be within their environment. If not Cuba, how about San Francisco? National Journal has more:

Keith Judd also happens to be federal prison inmate Number 11593-051 who was serving a sentence for making threats at the University of New Mexico in 1999. Keith Judd will come away with at least one delegate tonight for cracking the 40% mark against Obama. So there you have it. The Democrat’s newest star, Keith Judd.

North Carolina voters overwhelmingly approve constitutional amendment defining marriage as between man and a woman
Hey, I thought North Carolina was a blue state now and Obama would carry it with ease in November? Apparently North Carolina isn’t as liberal as some hacks and pundits had hoped, as over 1.3 million voters overwhelmingly approved a state constitutional amendment that will define marriage as between a man and woman. If you are into the social conservative thing, this is good news. I personally don’t really care one way or another, other than to see how voters in a state will go for certain ideological measures. At the time of this post, with 1.3 million votes cast, 61% voted for the amendment, 39% voted against. It’s a landslide.

Michele Bachmann has endorsed Mitt Romney (unlike Newt Gingrich or Rick Santorum.) Bachmann says that this is “the last chance we have to keep America from going … over a cliff.” She’s right.
According to ABC, Bachmann released a statement saying she was “honored” to back Romney, describing him as “a man who will preserve the American dream of prosperity and liberty.”
