This new 8 minute video depicts James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles entering ACORN’s Philadelphia office and meeting with Katherine Conway-Russell. O’Keefe and Giles are seen speaking with Conway-Russell, but audio portions of the video are missing or edited in some portions. O’Keefe is heard mentioning he doesn’t “want to get in trouble with authorities,” and he mentions individuals will be frequently coming in and out of the building they hoped to secure, an apparent reference to the purported prostitution business to operate there. Clips of news reports featuring Conway-Russell and ACORN’s chief executive, Bertha Lewis, claiming the pair were kicked out of the office were then shown.

South Park goofs on ACORN – Is Butters a racist or a right-wing extremist?
Surely the creators of South Park and the character “Butters” from South Park are either racists or right wing extremists now. Butters looks for housing oppurtunities and corporate tax information for his “Kissing company” in an obvious mock of ACORN after the scandal of exposed by James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles was exposed. At the end of the clip Butters says “I thought ACORN helps pimps and their bitches”! Let the cries of racism begin. Maybe CNN can fact check this too!

According to Big Government, an offer has been accepted for ACORN’s long-time headquarters on Elysian Fields Avenue in New Orleans, on the edge of the 9th Ward. This is the empty funeral home building you may have seen reported on by Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly. SEIU 100, which Rathke founded, was also headquartered in that building.

According to Big Government, a spokesman for Cleveland prosecutor Bill Mason (an elected Democrat) confirmed yesterday that a local investigation of ACORN remains wide open.
ACORN’s CEO Bertha Lewis plays the race card
No real surprise here, maybe the only surprise is that Bertha Lewis waiting this long to actually cry racism. On Tuesday, ACORN’s CEO Bertha Lewis charged that accusations about ACORN are racist, alleging that a coordinated political effort started by former Bush adviser Karl Rove sought to stop the group from registering minority voters, according to an article in the Washington Times.

You may remember that Big Government readers will remember that “the Corporation for National and Community Service” played a huge roll on the now infamous NEA Conference call, where ”the Corporation’s” Nell Abernathy joined White House and NEA officials to nudge artists to produce works supporting the Obama Administration’s legislative priorities.
Turns out Rathke didn’t embezzle just $1 million from ACORN, instead it was $5 million!
No wonder ACORN still wouldn’t open up the books. According to NOLA, an internal review by the board of directors of ACORN determined that the amount allegedly embezzled from the community organization was $5 million, not $1 million which was originally reported months ago, according to a new subpoena in an investigation by Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell. On Tuesday, Oct 6th, Caldwell has served ACORN 2nd Subpoena.

According to ObamaCARE Blog Center, Obama’s Internet Czar, Susan Crawford has direct ties to Acorn through her OneWebNow project. The OneWebNow project lists Acorn as one of its “participating organizations”. Damage Control at its finest. According to BigGovernment, an in ad today in the Washington Post, ACORN CEO Bertha Lewis is looking for a “social media organizer” to take to the Web and do some damage control on the Twitter front. Duties include:

Not all of the discussion on the Sunday talk shows that coward Obama appeared on where regarding ObamaCARE. During the Stephanopoulos interview on ABC the topic of Acorn, and their child prostitution company came up (briefly). ACORN of course received over $800,000 from Obama during his presidential campaign, has received over $54 from the government over the last 10 years or so, and was set to receive about $8.5 BILLION from the stimulus package this year. Obama also was an attorney for ACORN during the ’90s. Obama’s first big “community organizer” jobs involved ACORN in 1992. He has been working along side ACORN since before he became an elected official. Obama also trained ACORN employees. Theres also a famous soundbite of him now telling Acorn how they “will have a seat at the table” once he got electected. Yet somehow, he hasn’t followed the story closely. Well, if he watches ABC, CBS,NBC, or CNN, that actually might be believable since they hardly even mentioned it to begin with. Here’s a transcript of the interview via Gateway Pundit:
