Obama’s “peace partners” Taliban wound 77 Americans with truck bomb in Afghanistan
How did the Taliban or as Obama calls them the “Tollybahn” honor the 10th anniversary of 9/11? By doing what they do best. The Taliban set off a truck bomb in Afghanistan injuring 77 Americans and killing 5 Afghan civilians. But remember, Obama wants to “work” with the Taliban. More from Fox News:
Obama regime now “bans” Marines from “farting” in Afghanistan to not offend the indigenous population
Obama regime bows down to the Muslims again. According to The Blaze, Marines in Afghanistan have been told not to pass gas around Afghans. Not because of the smell, but because it might “offend” the indigenous population.
Obama regime close to agreement to keep troops in Afghanistan until at least 2024
Yet again, it takes the British media to report on what Obama is doing, that the cowardly American media wouldn’t cover. According to the UK Daily Telegraph, warmonger Obama is close to an agreement or a “strategic pact” with Afghanistan that will keep thousands of American troops in Afghanistan through at least 2024!
Horrible! Muslim terrorist Taliban shoots down U.S. military helicopter kiling 30 Americans including 25 Navy SEALs
In the deadliest day yet in the Afghanistan war, 38 people, including 30 Americans were killed. 25 of the 30 Americans killed were Navy SEALs from the same unit that killed Osama Bin Laden! Muslim terrorist organization Taliban (or TollyBahn if you are Obama) shot down the helicopter in eastern Afghanistan. As Obama continues to vacation in Camp David he refused to condemn the TollyBahn. Instead according to Fox News, Obama mourned “the Afghans who died alongside our troops.”
Doug Ross wonders if dipsh*t Joe Biden’s loose lips played a roll in this. You may remember that just a few days after the Navy SEALs killed Bin Laden, the dumbest Vice President in American history revealed the name of the admiral of the team that killed Bin Laden. I don’t know if he’s responsible. Read Doug Ross’ article and decide for yourself. I’m not a progressive. I wouldn’t tell you how to think.
Obama plays politics with troops in Afghanistan and ignores General Petraeus
As was expected, Obama ignored General Petraeus plans in Afghanistan and announced he is pulling 10,000 troops out of Afghanistan by next month. Come election season next year, Obama will pull out another 23,000 troops, basically wiping out the “surge” requested by General Stanley A. McChrystal. Oh and the 23,000 that will be pulled out next year will happen in September of 2012, not too far from election day. What a coincidence huh? It took Obama months of dithering on deciding to add a fraction of troops that McChrystal requested, now they will all be out by election time. There will still be 67,000 troops in Afghanistan. If Obama isn’t in the “good war” to win, then why not pull ALL of them out? Obama’s speech was about 13 minutes long. As usual, no questions were allowed by the lame stream media and he managed to mention himself with “I” eleven times in just thirteen minutes. Truly an impressive pace at almost once per minute.
Air-raiding villages and killing civilians – NATO kills 14 women and children and women in Afghanistan
Now that Osama Bin Laden is dead, i’m still curious as to why we are bothering wasting resources in Afghanistan. According to Bush, this is where Osama was supposeably hanging out (but of course it turned out to be Pakistan instead.) I guess now I know why. Remember back in 2007 when Obama made this claim?
More blood on Obama’s hands – 8 U.S. service members killed in Kabul, deadliest day in three years
Eight U.S. service members were killed in Kabul, Afghanistan today by some Muslim wearing an Afghan Air Force uniform. According to The Blaze, this the worst single-day U.S. death toll in nearly three years. The U.S.-led coalition issued a statement condemning the attacks.

60% of U.S. military deaths in Afghanistan have happened since Obama took power – media silent
There have been at least 858 American soldiers who have died in the Afghanistan war Obama took over the White House in January of 2009. According to CNSNEWS, a total of 1,423 soldiers have died since the Afghanistan war began nearly 10 years ago. This means that since the Obama regime took over, 60.13% of all solider deaths have occured in Afghanistan and there hasn’t been a peep out of the lame stream media. Remember how the same lame stream media ran daily “death” counts of U.S. soldiers during the Iraq war under Bush? No such thing with their Messiah Obama.
Great news! Obama confuses Afghanistan with Iraq and tells reporter: Combat Operations Have Ended
Smart power. Obama can’t even recognize the difference between Afghanistan and Iraq. During the 2008 campaign he sure did. Iraq was the bad war, Afghanistan was the “good” war. Obama told a reporter:
“As I said, we will be out of Afghanistan by the end of this year… Combat operations in Afghanistan have ended.”
2010 was the deadliest year ever for U.S. Troops in Afghanistan – media still silent
Remember during the days of the Iraq war when George W. Bush was President and the lame stream media would have “body counts” every night of killed US troops? Suddenly, that’s vanished and you don’t hear much about the troops in Afghanistan, or how many troops are lost on a daily, monthly or even yearly basis anymore. According to CNSNEWS, if the media were as eager to keep track of US troops killed in Afghanistan, they would have to do it on a hourly basis, as one American was killed every 18 hours in Afghanistan in 2010. Before 2010, 2009 was the deadliest year for American troops, yet you didn’t hear a thing about it. In 2010, 496 U.S. service men and women lost their lives. That number was 303 in 2009.
Another Obama promise broken: Joe Biden says U.S. will be out of Afghanistan by 2014
What happened to being out of Afghanistan by the summer of 2011 Mr. President? Gitmo closed in 2009? Nope. Unemployment rate under 8% once stimulus bill passed? Nope. ObamaCARE will bend the cost curve “down?” Eh. Not so much. I could go on and on with all the Obama lies and campaign promises broken, but I don’t want to exceed my host’s bandwidth usage limit. The latest promise however is Afghanistan. Last year how announced he was sending about three quarters the amount of troops requested and said the U.S. would be out of Afghanistan by the summer of 2011. Well, chalk that up as another lie. According to Vice President Joe Biden, “come hell or high water” we’ll be totally out of there by 2014. Progressive liberals aren’t that great at math, but that’s three years later than the Obama regime promised.

Obama now says the U.S. Can ‘absorb terrorist attacks’
Some journalist named Bob Woodward has written a new book. In what appears to be a Washington Post piece playing up to the anti-war left, it describes Woodward’s book as Obama trying to dictate the terms of the Afghan war, and “urgently” looked for a way out of the war. But then, there was a really disturbing quote from Obama. In July of Obama told Woodward that American can simply just “absorb”: a terrorist attack. Like it’s nothing at all.
We can absorb a terrorist attack. We’ll do everything we can to prevent it, but even a 9/11, even the biggest attack ever . . . we absorbed it
Doesn’t this just make you feel really safe? More from the Wapo article:

Nancy Pelosi wants “serious drawdown” of troops in Afghanistan by July 2011
In an exclusive interview with the Huffington Post, Nancy Pelosi made clear “there Will Be ‘A Serious Drawdown’ From Afghanistan In July 2011.” This regardless of what the conditions on the ground are like, or if the troops and military are still trying to achieve their goal of taking out the Taliban.
“I think we’ll have a serious drawdown, I don’t think it’ll be, as [the president] said, turning out the lights,” said Pelosi.
Asked point-blank whether she thinks troops will be pulled out of the country in July 2011, Pelosi replied: “I do. And everything I saw there before, for all the bad things there that I saw in terms of [corruption and money wasted] … I did consistently hear that the timetable was on schedule to have serious drawdown.” In typical Huffington Post fashion, they praise San Fran Nan’s remarks and think that these remarks will “undoubtedly be welcomed” by Democrats and Republicans. Democrats who don’t care one bit about the troop’s lives and the stated military goals will undoubtedly love this. Other than that, i’m not so sure.
Let the beans spill! Gen. McChrystal to retire from the Army
After being throw under the bus by the Obama regime last week and being fired as the top U.S. general of the Afghanistan war, Gen. Stanley McChrystal, told the Army on Monday that he will retire. Army spokesman Col. Tom Collins tells Fox News that McChrystal has informed the office that handles retirements for the Army, which is the General Officer Management Office, that he intends to retire.

Obama wasn’t such a big fan of Petraeus in 2007 during Iraq hearings
Times change. Especially when you are Obama and you remove your top General in Afghanistan not because he’s incompetent, but because McChrystal told truth about Obama’s failings

Thin skinned Obama forces Gen. Stanley McChrystal’s resignation, replaces him with Gen. David Petraeus
The thin skinned commander in chump has struck again. Obama announced Wednesday that he has accepted Gen. Stanley McChrystal’s forced resignation as the commander of U.S. forces in Afghanistan and nominated Gen. David Petraeus to replace him, following a scathing article in which he and his aides were quoted criticizing the administration. Congress will now have to approve of Petraeus before he can “officially” take over for McChrystal’s posititon. According to Fox News, McChrystal got his marching orders as he held a face-to-face meeting at the White House, where he met with the president after a meeting with Defense Secretary Robert Gates at the Pentagon. The Wednesday meeting preceded a regular session of the administration’s strategy team for Afghanistan, held in the White House Situation Room. Normally, McChrystal would have joined via teleconference but he was summoned to Washington as he faced a private flogging over the article that appeared in Rolling Stone.
Stanley McChrystal likely will resign Wednesday
Looks like Obama has forced McChrystal to resign! From CNN:
McChrystal likely will resign Wednesday, a Pentagon source with ongoing contacts with the general said.
Another source, The London Telegraph has also confirmed that McChrystal has tendered his resignation to Obama. It’s too bad McChystal didn’t see the writing on the walls when Obama dithered for months on his request for 40,000 more troops in Afghanistan. Instead, Obama only gave him 75% of what he requested.
Rolling Stone full article about Stanley McChrystal – The Runaway General
The now famous Rolling Stone magazine article entitled “The Runaway General” appears in RS 1108/1109 from July 8-22, 2010, on newsstands Friday, June 25. If you can’t wait three more days to pick up a copy of Rolling Stone magazine, you can now read the full article online at their website.
‘How’d I get screwed into going to this dinner?” demands Gen. Stanley McChrystal. It’s a Thursday night in mid-April, and the commander of all U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan is sitting in a four-star suite at the Hôtel Westminster in Paris. He’s in France to sell his new war strategy to our NATO allies – to keep up the fiction, in essence, that we actually have allies. Since McChrystal took over a year ago, the Afghan war has become the exclusive property of the United States. Opposition to the war has already toppled the Dutch government, forced the resignation of Germany’s president and sparked both Canada and the Netherlands to announce the withdrawal of their 4,500 troops. McChrystal is in Paris to keep the French, who have lost more than 40 soldiers in Afghanistan, from going all wobbly on him.
“The dinner comes with the position, sir,” says his chief of staff, Col. Charlie Flynn.
McChrystal turns sharply in his chair.
“Hey, Charlie,” he asks, “does this come with the position?”
McChrystal gives him the middle finger.
On the ground with the Runaway General: Photos of Stanley McChrystal at work.
The general stands and looks around the suite that his traveling staff of 10 has converted into a full-scale operations center. The tables are crowded with silver Panasonic Toughbooks, and blue cables crisscross the hotel’s thick carpet, hooked up to satellite dishes to provide encrypted phone and e-mail communications. Dressed in off-the-rack civilian casual – blue tie, button-down shirt, dress slacks – McChrystal is way out of his comfort zone. Paris, as one of his advisers says, is the “most anti-McChrystal city you can imagine.” The general hates fancy restaurants, rejecting any place with candles on the tables as too “Gucci.” He prefers Bud Light Lime (his favorite beer) to Bordeaux,
Talladega Nights(his favorite movie) to Jean-Luc Godard. Besides, the public eye has never been a place where McChrystal felt comfortable: Before President Obama put him in charge of the war in Afghanistan, he spent five years running the Pentagon’s most secretive black ops.
“What’s the update on the Kandahar bombing?” McChrystal asks Flynn. The city has been rocked by two massive car bombs in the past day alone, calling into question the general’s assurances that he can wrest it from the Taliban.
“We have two KIAs, but that hasn’t been confirmed,” Flynn says.
McChrystal takes a final look around the suite. At 55, he is gaunt and lean, not unlike an older version of Christian Bale in Rescue Dawn. His slate-blue eyes have the unsettling ability to drill down when they lock on you. If you’ve fucked up or disappointed him, they can destroy your soul without the need for him to raise his voice.
“I’d rather have my ass kicked by a roomful of people than go out to this dinner,” McChrystal says.
He pauses a beat.
“Unfortunately,” he adds, “no one in this room could do it.”
With that, he’s out the door.
“Who’s he going to dinner with?” I ask one of his aides.
8 Americans Killed in Afghan Bomb Attack
A suicide bomb attack on a military base in Afghanistan killed eight Americans Wednesday, a U.S. official told CBS News correspondent David Martin. All the victims were civilians, a spokesman for the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan told CBS News. The attack occurred in a makeshift gym at a forward operating military base in Khost province, reports Martin.
Pelosi says rallying votes for troop surge in Afghanistan will be Obama’s job
Once a witch, always a witch. I’m going to assume there is already enough votes in the House for Obama’s Afghanistan “surge” of 30,000 troops (only 75% of the mid level plan his general requested). If there aren’t enough votes yet, Obama better not rely on any help of gathering votes from Nancy Pelosi. She also said she is “done” asking her colleagues to back wars that they do not support (I guess that doesn’t include the American people). According to the Washington Post:
“The president’s going to have to make his case,” Pelosi told reporters at a year-end briefing on the legislative session.
