Arlen Specter interrupts Joe Sestak at Pennsylvania Progressive forum

Arlen SpecterAs Arlen Specter continues his meltdown ahead of the November 2010 elections following his recent condescending remarks to Rep. Michelle Bachman, “act like a lady” and this past summer’s shout down of town hall attendees, Specter yet again shows his “class”. During his Democrat primary challenger, Rep. Joe Sestak’s Q&A session at the Pennsylvania Progressive forum over the past weekend, Specter help himself from interrupting Sestak.

Arlen Specter has the nerve to tell Michele Bachmann to “act like a lady” TWICE

Arlen SpecterNow of course, Arlen Specter’s comments will never be considered sexist by the lame stream media, since Specter after all is a Democrat. Though I would have love to seen the media’s reaction had say Mitch McConnell said this remark to say Nancy Pelosi on the same radio interview. That being said, Arlen Specter and Rep. Michele Bachmann appeared together on a Philly radio station yesterday — and things got ugly in short order according to Politico. Specter TWICE had the nerve to shout down Bachmann, telling her to “act like a lady.” Please Pennsylvania take a lesson from Massachusetts (god, i never though I’d be saying this), and vote this pile of trash out in November!

Arlen Specter: Health care protesters dont represent America

Despite the polls on ObamaCARE, despite Hussein and his cronies fumbling around about a public option or not, despite removing wording about “end of life counciling” after Sarah Palin called out the death panels, and despite claims by Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer and others about people at these townhalls being “un-american” or “nazis”, or “racists”, Arlen Specter says ObamaCARE protesters dont represent America:

Talkin’ Polls – 52% dissaprove of Obama, 54% prefer NOTHING over ObamaCARE and Pennsylvania Senate: Toomey 48%, Specter 36%

Looks take a lot at a few polls done by Rasmussen. First, today’s Presidential tracking poll. Obama has now tied his highest disapproval rating to date, at 52% (while 48% approve). On the matter of HusseinCARE, Thirty-five percent (35%) of American voters say passage of the bill currently working its way through Congress would be better than not passing any health care reform legislation this year. However, a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that most voters (54%) say no health care reform passed by Congress this year would be the better option. And lastly, one of the more mindboggling polls has Pat Toomey (Republican) leading Arlen Specter 48%-36% for the 2010 Senate seat. In just two months (June), Specter has gone from 11% points ahead of Toomey to trailing Toomey by 12 points, a swing of 23% in 2 months in a BLUE state!

Here’s a hint to the old, senile, washed up Specter, maybe you out to read bills and become familiar with the legislation you are so anxious to sign!

Colin Powell is so disgusted at the Republican party, he will remain a Republican

And vote democrat, as long as Obama is in office.  If you want to know what a RINO is (Republican in Name Only), you can look at someone like John McCain, the weakest canidate the GOP has run for President in decades. Others, like Arlen Specter, Olympia Snowe, etc don’t even deserve the tag of being called a RINO. Colin Powell, whom I used to have the utmost respect for, and wanted him to run for President years ago is now in the Arlen Specter class as far as I’m concerned. Powell, who was on  “Face the Nation” today touted his Republican credentials and urged his party to be more moderate and inclusive. As we all know, the Republicans who have been more moderate, such as John McCain have done so well. I would think someone like Colin Powell would quit being a coward already and just admit he supports Obama based on race alone.  More from Fox News:

“Rush will not get his wish and Mr. Cheney was misinformed. I am still a Republican,” Powell said, noting that he “voted solidly for Republican candidates” for president for 20 years, spent 10 years of his life serving in Republican administrations and spoke at two GOP conventions.

“You know, neither (Cheney) nor Rush Limbaugh are members of the membership committee of the Republican Party. I get to make my decision on that,” Powell said. “And so I will continue to work in a way that I think is helpful to the country and helpful to the party.”

He said the reason he endorsed Barack Obama for president last fall — a decision that prompted a wave of conservative discontent with Powell — was he believed Obama was “best-qualified” to lead.

Oh BTW, how smart is Colin Powell? He claims to have voted for Lyndon Johnson AND Jimmy Carter. (Unless he confused Obama with the Peanut farmer).
