Cornhusker kickback Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson to retire
Another one bites the dust. There is no way in hell the corrupt Marxist Democrat Ben Nelson was going to win another Senate term next year after his corruption was revealed during the Cornhusker kickback for his vote on ObamaCARE. So rather than face a humiliating, Blanche Lincoln style crushing in next year’s election, Nelson has decided to “retire” at the end of this term.

I’m going to out on a limb and make a prediction today. Corrupt Marxist Democrat Senator Ben Nelson from Nebraska will get crushed in next year’s election. He is one of more than 20 Marxist Democrat Senators up for re-election next year, and is one of many that will lose. The following video was put out by the NRSC entitled “Integrity Matters, Ben Nelson.” While Nelson and Democrats lack integrity, it’s a bit ironic that the NRSC would put this out, considering they are getting ready to vote on SOPA. Google SOPA and learn what it’s all about. Beyond that, the NRSC isn’t exactly known for it’s integrity either.
No happy ending for people on health reform says Cornhusker kickback king Sen. Ben Nelson
There certainly wouldn’t be any happy ending for Ben Nelson come 2012 as he is toast come election time that year. But according to Nelson, there may not be a happy ending for people on health reform aka Obama either. According to The Hill, Nelson, who gave key support to health care legislation in the Senate in December, defended his actions to support the bill, lashing out at the media for heaping scrutiny on deals the senator had secured to support the reform package.

I don’t know what’s more shocking. The fact liberal biased ABC actually reported this, or the fact Nelson and the Democrats thought it wouldn’t leak out eventually via blogs, Fox News, or some source. ABC News’ Jonathan Karl report that just four days after Senator Ben Nelson voted for cloture on the Senate health care reform bill, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) cut a $459,000 check to the Nebraska Democratic Party, which was promptly used to tout Nelson’s “courageous” vote. Three days later, the DNC sent the Nebraska party another $20,000.

Michelle Malkin got an e-mail from Susan Smith. Smith is the founder of a group of pissed off Nebraskans called the “Nebraskans Advisory Group”. This past weekend, the group held what they are calling a “Rat Rally”. Michelle Malkin was provided some very good pictures of the rally by Smith (you can check them out at the earlier link to Malkin).
Approval ratings for Cornhusker Kickback king Ben Nelson drop below 50%
I don’t know if the Omaha World Herald is a liberal fish wrap or not (since the vast majority of newspapers are, I’ll assume it probably is). But the latest poll from the Omaha World Herald’s latest poll has Nelson’s job approval rating at 42% and his disapproval rating was 48%. By comparison, Republican Senator Mike Johanns of Nebraska, who voted against the bill, had a 63% job-approval rating. Being from California, and not knowing a whole lot about him, Nelson always seemed like a nice guy, so it’s no surprised he once enjoyed some of the highest job performance marks in the U.S. Senate. Alas, he might still be a great guy, but he sealed his fate with this cash-4-cloture vote (along with the bailout, along with the tarp bill, along with the omnibus pork bill).

Ben Nelson asks Harry Reid to drop medicaid break for Nebraska
I guess Nelson finally got the message after being booed out of a pizza place in Omaha Nebraska. After accepting Harry Reid’s Cornhusker kickback and completely embarrassing his home state of Nebraska, According too Roll Call (Thought I first saw this posted on Patriot Room) Nelson has asked Harry Reid to drop the $100 million bribe given him by Reid in order to buy his vote for cloture on ObamaCARE.
The Corn Husker Boo back! Ben Nelson booed out of Omaha pizza parlor!
LOL! This is awesome! According to Politico, Ben Nelson and his wife were leaving dinner at a new pizza joint near their home in Omaha one night last week when a patron began complaining about Nelson’s decisive vote in favor of the Senate’s health care bill. Other customers started booing. A woman yelled, “Get him the hell out of here!” And the Nelsons and their dining companions beat a hasty retreat.

Ben Nelson begs Henry McMaster to forgo any legal actions aka ‘Call off the Dogs’
Knowing he’s in deep dog s*it, Ben Nelson of the Cornhusker Kickback begged South Carolina GOP Attorney General Henry McMaster to forgo any legal actions and asked McMaster to “call of the dogs”. McMaster is the leader of a group of 13 Republican state attorneys general who are threatening to file suit against the Senate health care bill, and urged him to forgo any legal action, Politico has learned. According to a copy of a memo sent by McMaster’s chief of staff to other GOP state attorneys general detailing the call, Nelson asked McMaster to “call off the dogs,” a reference to recent threats by the state AGs to file a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of a Medicaid provision in the bill that benefits Nebraska at the expense of other states.

Ben Nelson airs ad during Holiday Bowl defending himself on ObamaCARE vote
People on Nebraska love their college football team called the Corn Huskers. They don’t however love the Corn Husker kickback Ben Nelson was given to get his vote in the Senate version of Obama. Since then, the people of Nebraska have turned on Nelson, with Ben Nelson joker pictures popping up in rural towns, polls crashing faster than even Obama’s and a general disdain for the man who won his last election to the Senate with over 60% of the vote, in a Republican state. Now, Nelson is attempting damage control and will air a new TV ad to take his case directly to Nebraskans during Wednesday night’s Holiday Bowl game according to the Journal Star.
Ben Nelson down 31% points to Nebraska Republican Governor Dave Heineman for 2012 Senate run
Looks like the Cornhusker Kickback king Ben Nelson is in deep s*it already for his 2012 Senate run. Current Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman who has slammed Nelson after whoring his state for the 60th Senate ObamaCARE vote is more than doubles Nelson’s total of likely voters in the latest Rasmussen poll. Heineman gets 61% of the vote, while Nelson, who was elected to a second Senate term in 2006 with 64% of the vote only gets 30%. Of course, Heineman hasn’t announced he plans to run for Nelson’s seat, but this should be a good indicator of what to expect for Nelson’s challengers. Overall, 40% of Nebraska voters have a favorable opinion of Nelson while 55% have an unfavorable view. Those figures include 12% with a Very Favorable opinion while 34% hold a Very Unfavorable view. If you use the PAI “formula” on Nelson that’s used on Obama, this would give Nelson a -22!
