Did Bill Richardson suddenly join the new Black Panthers or smth? Oh I get it, since Bill Richardson is one of Obama’s pals, he wouldn’t be investgated for Pay2Play. From Fox News:

More Obama scandals: Obama took big money from David Rubin, the man at the center of a federal probe in the Richardson “pay to play” scandal

Has ANYONE out there, however old you may be seen as many scandals for a “President Elect” before he even takes the oath of office? One of the key players in the pay-to-play scandal that claimed Bill Richardson’s nomination also donated $3,000 to Obama during election, ABC News reports this morning. David Rubin, the “payer” in the pay-for-play scandal, gave $30,000 to Team Obama during the general election:

President-elect Barack Obama took big money from a man at the center of a federal probe that has forced one of Obama’s top Cabinet picks to withdraw.

Financial records show the Obama campaign got more than $30,000 from California financier David Rubin, the target of an investigation into donations and possible “pay-to-play” deals involving New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, Obama’s pick for commerce secretary. …

In late September, Rubin attended an exclusive Los Angeles fundraiser for Obama, held at the Beverly Hills’ Greystone Mansion. Attendees gave tens of thousands of dollars which the campaign split between its own coffers, the Democratic National Committee and state-level campaign groups supporting Obama and Democratic candidates. The technique helps campaigns take in from individuals far more than the $2,300 maximum they are allowed to give to a single campaign fund.

Rubin’s money went to a joint Obama-DNC fund ($28,500), the DNC itself ($26,200), and to the Obama campaign ($2,300), according to the database of campaign donations at OpenSecrets.Org. News of the federal investigation into Rubin’s New Mexico dealings had broken less than three weeks earlier.

El Pollo Richardson – “Disappointed” and “hurt” by turn of events

All of a sudden, the Latino activists who jeered that Richardson’s nomination was an unacceptable consolation prize are demanding that another Hispanic be appointed to the post. Bill Richardson is “disappointed” in the turn of the events but has “faith” in the process. Excited about returning to work on the state budget. Not surprisingly for a democrat, he refuses to talk about the probe or his conversations with Obama. Richardson says he “underestimated how long the criminal investigation would take.”Question: Did the transition team pressure you to withdraw or did you? Richardson unconvincingly says that he made the decision.“Yesterday, I was hurting. I lost a Cabinet appointment. But I think people have to focus on what people are losing in this country. Que? Corrupt Bill Richardson says adios to being Commerce Secretary

For a man who claims to be the agent of “change” and “hope”, and who the media calls “uber-cool” and loves posting manboob pics about on a daily basis, Obama’s “transition” to the White House has been anything but uber-cool. Most notable has been the pay to play scandal involving Blago, and possibly Obama and/or Rahm Emanuel. Well add another crook to the of Obama’s pals. Some of you may remember last month the story about the federal investigtion regarding Bill Richardson’s connections to a consultancy already linked to a pay-for-play scandal in Alabama. Well it looks like the “pollos” of Bill Richardson’s pay-to-play scandal have come home to roost. More than likely the first of many ethics-tainted Obama nominations to go down in flames. Adios, Bill. Even the MSM can’t hide this one:

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, tapped in December by President-elect Barack Obama to serve as secretary of Commerce, has withdrawn his name for the position, citing a pending investigation into a company that has done business with his state.

“Let me say unequivocally that I and my Administration have acted properly in all matters and that this investigation will bear out that fact,” he said Sunday in a report by NBC News. “But I have concluded that the ongoing investigation also would have forced an untenable delay in the confirmation process.”

Add another corrupt Hussein Obama cabinet nomination to the BlagObama case: Eric Holder

It seems Governor Blago once appointed Obama’s Attorney General nominee Eric Holder to investigate corruption (oh the irony). Holder received a total of $300,000 for his “legal services”, and the so called corruption probe finds nothing. Corruption probe finds no wrongdoing. Yet, Holder neglects to mention all this on his AG questionnaire. See the questionnaire for yourselves here.

Seems like Hussein is off to a flying start, before he has “officially” got started. HOPE AND CHANGE!

Yet another Pay-To-Play “player” – democrats continue to be exposed.

While this one has nothing to do with Hussein Obama (for a change), the voice mails left by a state legislator now show linking committee assignments to fundraising. It’s the third pay-for-play scandal for Democrats in a week! First BlagObamaGate, and Bill Richardson (which of course you havent seen or heard ANYWHERE in the MSM), and now in Florida. I would like to officially welcome everyone to democratic politics in the 21st century.

I’ll tell you what, Obama Hussein sure can pick him. By now, the whole BlagObamagate story is all over the place, and of course the Illinois politicians are still clueless as to what to do about him. Well no matter. As BlagObamaGate unfolds, we may have another soap opera. According to Bloomberg, federal investigators have begun an investigation into Bill Richardson’s connections to a consultancy already linked to a pay-for-play scandal in Alabama. Richardson, selected by Barack Obama for Secretary of Commerce, may have directed state funds to CDR in exchange for political work at the 2004 Democratic convention and in voter-registration efforts in support of Richardson’s re-election as governor. Way to pick ‘em Hussein.
