In the e-mail meant to try and provoke people to get support to support Cap and Trade the e-mail deemed that this is “the most important global warming vote in years”. Fine, we all know libtards/dems are nuts and believe that Cap and Trade will some how many sort of difference to the atmosphere, when China and India continue to pollute at air at a faster rate and have no intention of stopping. But somehow, this e-mail also turned into a Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh and Newt Gingrich bashfest.

President Barack Obama’s push for quick action by Congress on climate change legislation suffered a setback on Thursday when the U.S. Senate committee leading the drive delayed work on the bill until September.
Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Chairman Barbara Boxer said her self-imposed deadline of early August for finishing writing a bill to combat global warming has been put off until after Congress returns from a recess that ends in early September.
“We’ll do it as soon as we get back” from that break, Boxer told reporters. Asked if this delay jeopardizes chances the Senate will pass a bill this year, Boxer said, “Not a bit … we’ll be in (session) until Christmas, so I’m not worried about it.”
But Boxer did not guarantee Congress will be able to finish a bill and deliver it to Obama by December, when he plans to attend an international summit on climate change in Copenhagen.
“I want to take this as far as we can take it (before Copenhagen). The more we do the better,” Boxer said.

Waxman: GOP and those against the Cap and Trade bill are anti-american
Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.), believes House Republican opposition to climate change legislation and the stimulus indicates they’re cheering against the good ol’ US of A. According to Politico:
“It appears that the Republican Party leadership in the Congress has made a decision that they want to deny President Obama success, which means, in my mind, they are rooting against the country, as well,” the powerful House Energy and Commerce Committee
chairman told WAMU radio host Diane Rehm on Tuesday morning, promoting his new book, “The Waxman Report.”Still, he said that one House Republican leader, speaking to him after the climate change squeaker, predicted that “a lot” of GOP-ers would vote for the (presumably) weakened bill when it emerges from the Senate.

“I have no way of knowing,’’ the Oklahoma Republican said.
Inhofe, however, stood by his prediction that a historic climate change bill narrowly approved by the House last week faces certain defeat in the Senate.
“It’s dead in the water,’’ he said.
I don’t buy it for a minute. The senate is just as liberal and corrupt as the house. You have another vote from the loonybin franken, and at least 3 RINOs (McCain, Snowe, Collins) who are pretty much forgone conclusion YES votes. Why would this bill be dead in the water? BTW, [Section Reserved]?

The address comes as unemployment rises while Washington Democrats continue to pursue policies on the economy, health care, energy, and the environment that will destroy more American jobs and drive future generations into deeper debt.
