Wasn’t the whole excuse over at CNN that the reason why they got rid of Lou Dobbs is because they don’t want “opinions” on the air, and just give the “straight news”? Well, I guess that doesn’t apply when it comes to liberal causes. Take for example the little kid named Will Phillips from Lincoln Elementary in Arkansas, who refuses to do the pledge of allegiance until gays can marry. You may have seen the interview on CNN a few days ago, which was so obviously scripted it wasn’t even funny. Today CNN’s Kyra Phillips showed a recap of the scripted moment. After it was over, Phillips decided to put her OPINION into the ring, calling the “bullies” of the kids “Dork wads” and claiming the bullies are simply “jealous because Phillips is smarter than you”. I kid you not! This is what CNN has become! And does anyone still wonder why their ratings can’t even beat HLN anymore?

RUSH: Outrageous on two counts! There is nothing “conservative” about Islamofascism. These people in the media continue to refer to anything they think is evil as “conservative.” Secondly, I know and I have read a lot of terrorists who are pretty open about what they intend to do. You had to see this coming for months right? Lou Dobbs doesn’t tow to left wing line at CNN, had his home/wife fired on by left wing loons a few weeks ago, and is against illegal immigration. Everything that CNN would consider “extremism” (unlike the muslim terrorist that shot up Fort Hood). So tonight Dobbs announced he is leaving the network, the anchor and commentator said Wednesday.

“Over the past six months, it has become increasingly clear that strong winds of change have begun buffeting this country and affecting all of us,” Dobbs said during his 7 p.m. broadcast.

Dobbs, 64, said he discussed the issue with CNN President Jonathan Klein, who agreed to release him from his contract and “that will enable me to pursue new opportunities.”

He said he was considering “a number of opportunities and directions.”

I’m hoping those oppurtunties include Fox News and Fox Business.

CNN Drops to Last Place Among Cable News Networks, even behind HLN for October

What does a network, who began the cable news “business”? Or the network that brought you such extensive coverage of BallonBoy, and fact checked a SNL skit about Obama? It gets you dead last in cable news ratings for the month of October, even behind their own sister network HLN (formerly Headline News.) Fox News of course destroyed every other cable “news” channel for the month. New York Times has the details:

CNN, which invented the cable news network more than two decades ago, will hit a new competitive low with its prime-time programs in October, finishing fourth – and last – among the cable news networks with the audience that all the networks rely on for their advertising.

The official monthly numbers will be finalized at 4 p.m. Monday and will include results from Friday. CNN executives conceded that will not change the competitive standing for the month. CNN will still be last in prime time.

Joe the Plumber laughs off CNN’s John Roberts claim “I don’t stump for anybody”

Just before 8 am Eastern time on the Tuesday edition of CNN’s American Morning, anchor John Roberts interviewed Joe “the Plumber” Wurzelbacher, and something unusual happened. According to News Busters, after a battery of questions from Roberts suggesting Joe was throwing John McCain “under the bus,” Joe shot back that the media does that to candidates it supports. Roberts took offense, since “I’m a journalist,” and Joe laughed at that. Roberts insisted Joe should not cast aspersions against him, and Joe said he didn’t mean to attack Roberts personally. (He should have said “I’m sure the Media Research Center has a thick file of your biased remarks.”) Maybe the best part of the exchange was at about 2:10 of the video below where Roberts claimed “I don’t stump for anybody” and Wurzelbacher laughed and said “i’m not going to touch that one.”.

I wonder what would have happened had the same thing happened to Hussein Obama? What kind of racial outcries would there be today? BTW, The MSNBC correspondent, commenting on the incident in which the Iraqi TV journalist threw two shoes at President Dubya Bush today, said the shoes “sailed over his head.” Not so much MS National Barack Channel. If you watch the video you will see that a very nimble and quick George Bush dodges both shoes, which, from their trajectory, both would probably have hit him in the face had he not taken evasive action. But, why would anyone in the mainstream media, let alone anyone at MS National Barack Channel want to imply the Iraqi journalist had bad aim than to give Bush any credit whatsoever.?

Palin’s Alaska Church Damaged in Suspicious Fire

Had this been Hussein Obama’s racist church, with that scumbag pastor Rev Wright, this would be BREAKING NEWS flashing all over CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, etc. Here is the info from Fox News and Hotair:

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Gov. Sarah Palin’s home church has been badly damaged in a suspicious fire.

Larry Kroon, pastor of the Wasilla Bible Church, estimates damages at more than $1 million to the church.

Kroon declined to say if the blaze was politically based or directed at Palin, the failed Republican vice presidential candidate.

Kroon says the fire broke out Friday night while a small group of women were working on crafts. They were alerted to the blaze by a fire alarm.

Kroon says he was called and by the time he got to the church, smoke was pouring out of the building. Sprinklers kept the fire from spreading beyond offices and classrooms.

Authorities are not immediately commenting, but Kroon says he’s been told the fire is being investigated as a crime.

A SOUTH Wales couple caught in the Mumbai terror attacks claimed last night that CNN put their lives at risk by broadcasting where they were, according to Michelle Malkin and Wales Online! Lynne and Kenneth Shaw, of Penarth, warned that terrorists were listening in to the media to pinpoint Western victims. Mrs Shaw claimed the CNN had broadcast details of where they were at the Taj Hotel. She has appealed to the media to be careful with the information it broadcasts because safety could be compromised and lives lost. CNN now naturally in damage control issued this rebuttal e-mail:

CNN requests an urgent correction to the story you are running. Please modify your headline as well so that it’s absolutely clear that Mrs Shaw has no issue with CNN at all.

CNN Statement

This story is not true. CNN has been told by Lynne Shaw that the accusations reported to have been made by her in the UK Press Association story are not accurate. She has no issue with CNN.

The alleged broadcast never happened and CNN at no time compromised her or the safety of her husband as reported.

FoxNews Poll has McCain winning by a margin of 4 to 1 at the time of this post. The Drudge Report’s poll was 3 to 1, and Vote.com had a margin of 4-1. Blatantly Obama biased media networks such as NBC and CNN had polls at one time online right after the debates, but somehow, they vanished from the site. Why exactly is this NBC and CNN?
