Government dependency spikes 23% under Obama – highest since Jimmy Carter regime
The similarities between Obama and Jimmy Carter are amazing. Lousy economies, high unemployment rates, a “hope and change” campaign, Iran pushing America around, and middle east hostage situations. Under Jimmy Carter of course there was the Iranian Hostage Crisis that lasted over a year. Under Obama, there is the Egyptian hostage crisis with 19 Americans being held basically as hostages by the Egyptian government. Of course, the media has no interest in reporting on this, and I’m sure they wouldn’t report on the fact that government dependency is up 23% under the Obama. That’s the highest since…. wait for it…. The Jimmy Carter regime.

Lets see. The day Obama began his reign of terror on January 20th, 2009 the unemployment rate stood at 7.9%. Nearly three years later, more than 2 million people have lost their jobs under the Obama regime, and nearly all of them have lost jobs since the Obama porkulus bill passed Congress. But in the land of Marxist Democrats like poodle head Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, unemployment hasn’t increased under the Obama regime. Instead, it’s just a Fox News narrative or something. Obama yet again blames the Internet and ATM machines for his failure to create jobs
Heh. Obama is going green. He’s once again recycling his failed statements from the summer where he blamed everything else for America’s job problem. Remember back in August when he blamed those evil ATM machines and the Al Gore invented Internet for the lack of job creation? Well in Texas err Kansas today, he did it again.
Obama FAIL! Q3 GDP revised down by 20 percent
What an abysmal failure Obama is. The third quarter GDP was revised downwards by a staggering 20% from 2.5% to 2.0%. Ok, I know that the Commerce Department revises it’s initial projections after nearly every report it issues, under all kinds of administrations and regimes. But to be off by a staggering $15 billion dollars, and 20% in it’s initial quarter three report? That’s a bit fishy to me.
Thanks Obama! Americans’ assessments of the job market is at it’s worst in a decade
Once again you can thank Obama, and the Nancy Pelosi controlled Congress from 2007-2011 for the lousy job market. According to Gallup, Americans’ assessments of the job market has worsened and is now at the most pessimistic they have been in the past decade. 90% of Americans say it’s a “bad time” to find a good, quality job. 8% for some odd reason think it’s a good time. The poll is amazing because the results of the Republicans, Democrats, and Independents polled are nearly identical across the board.

Another Obama record! Misery Index hits 28 year high
When Obama was elected, all of his press secretaries in the corrupt progressive liberal biased media said he would be a historic President. Almost three years later, the lame stream media is actually turning out to be prophets, just not in the way they wished. Record amounts of unemployed, record amount of people in poverty, record amount of people on food stamps, and record amount of polarization in this country. Obama is historic alright. For all the wrong reasons. Now according to Fox Business, the misery index has hit a 28 year high thanks to inflation and high unemployment.
Underemployment rises 0.3 points to 16.5% in September regular unemployment rate stays at 9.1%
The media is in a tizzy today because September actually saw a few jobs add, unlike August which saw a total of ZERO from President Zero. Problem for the progressive media hacks, 45,000 of the jobs “added” in September were the returning Verizon telecommunications workers who had been on strike in August. Basically what you get from these numbers that the media is jizzing to is that if you deduct the Verizon union thugs returning to work from a strike, about 58,000 jobs were added in September. Amazing, even with these anemic job numbers, the “regular” unemployment rate hasn’t change from 9.1% in three months. What the lame stream media wouldn’t tell is that that the underemployment rate which measures not only the unemployed, but also those working part time jobs who want full time employment rose in September by 0.3% to 16.5%.
Stocks off to worst fourth quarter start since October 1998 – hit 52 week low
Thanks Obama! Stocks are now off to their worst fourth quarter start since in 13 years thanks to Obama’s failed policies and class warfare. Not only that, but according to CNBC the Dow and S&P closed at their lowest levels in over a year. Oh BTW, remember that General Motors IPO a few months ago with a price of $33 per share? As of today, GM dropped another 2%, and is now trading at under $20 per share! How about that Government Motors! No wonder the Obama regime had Ford pull that ad bashing the other companies for taking bailout money.
Stocks drop 1,500+ points in third quarter of 2011, worst since 2008 financial crisis
Great job Obama! All his class warfare, all his insulting Americans calling them soft, all his whining has done great for the economy and the stock market. August 2011 saw ZERO jobs added, for the first time since the 1940′s. Now, for the first since George W. Bush was President during the financial crisis in 2008, stocks have had their worst quarterly loss. According to Fox Business, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 241 points today for or 2.2%. That makes a staggering 12.1% drop in the third quarter of this year. The S&P 500 plummeted 14.3% and the Nasdaq dove 12.9% during the quarter.

Hey, how’s your 401k looking since Obama announced his $1.5 trillion tax plan that doesn’t only tax those evil rich, but the poor, middle class, and military veterans? After dropping nearly 300 points yesterday, the Dow Jones plunged another 390 points today, dropping nearly 700 points in just two days! This is the worst two day performance in the stock market since the financial crisis of 2008.

The land of fruits and nuts known as California lost 8,400 jobs in August. The unemployment rate spiked to 12.1%, the second highest in te nation. Yet Governor “Moonbeam” Jerry Brown doesn’t seem to care. At least he hasn’t said anything about August’s horrendous job numbers. I guess in progressive land, that’s considered good, since it gets more people on the government’s teet.

Not only did initial jobless claims spike 11,000 …… unexpectedly to 428,000 for the week ending September 10th. Not only that, but the corrupt Obama regime’s Department of Labor again revised up the previous week’s initial claims by 4,000 new filers.
Another goodie in American Jobs Act – job-seekers can sue companies if they claim to have been discriminated against due to employment status
Not only is the American Jobs Act aka the Son of Stimulus bill a payoff to union thugs and slobs, but it’s also a payoff to trial lawyers. According to The Hill, Obama’s porkulus bill has a section called “Prohibition of Discrimination in Employment on the Basis of an Individual’s Status as Unemployed.” This section would make it “illegal” for employers to not hire someone purely on “job status.” It would also allow those who claim to have been discriminated against to sue the company and seek damages. This should do wonders for company to run out and interview people for jobs don’t you think?
Obama and progressive mission accomplished – More Americans now living in poverty than at any other time in American history
Another day, another Obama record. Progressives including Obama want people in poverty. They want people dependant on the government for handouts and sucking on the government teet. It looks like they are sucessful. According to The Hill, more Americans were living below the poverty line in 2010 than at any other recorded point in American history! Quite the accomplishment there for Obama and the then lead Nanzi Pelosi controlled House. Oh and remember ObamaCARE was supposed to cover those without health care? Last year after ObamaCARE passed, more people last their coverage than gained coverage. So how’s ObamaCARE working out for you?

Looks like Obama’s yelling to “PASS MY BILL” or the American Jobs Act which doesn’t even exist on paper yet was a complete and total bust. Of course, who couldn’t see this coming? After Obama yelled and screamed and read his teleprompter as loud as he could, the stock market tanked again. The Dow Jones dropped almost 304 points, and under 11,000 AGAIN. The Nasdaq dropped 58 points and the S&P dropped 29 points. Overall, the stock market indexs dropped an average of 2.5% thanks to Obama screaming for more stimulus.

ObamaFAIL! The Real Unemployment rate rises to 16.2% in August – 26 million American affected
It’s always a bit mysterious to me. You need at least 350,000 jobs added per month just to keep up with population growth. Yet the Obama regime finds a way to keep the commonly referred to unemployment level from rising above 9.1 with ZERO jobs added for the month of August. That’s quite a bit of fudging the numbers by a corrupt regime. But one area the regime couldn’t hide the increase unemployment is the “REAL” unemployment. This not only includes those out of a job, but it also includes people who are working part time and want full time jobs, and other measurements. The REAL unemployment rate spiked to 16.2% in August according to CNSNEWS. You’ll never hear th media report on this number.

America adds a grand total of ZERO jobs in August – yet unemployment rate stays at 9.1%
America added a whopping ZERO jobs in August 2011. I’ve heard of positive or negative job growth per month, but exactly ZERO? The last time this happened? In 1945! Expectations for August’s job grown were about 80,000. Yet, even with ZERO net jobs added in August the unemployment rate didn’t move from 9.1%. Amazing how the Obama regime and the Bureau of Labor Statics can manipulate the numbers to their advantage isn’t it? CNN already is using excuses. They claim that the Verizon striking union thugs were part of the “unemployed” in August, yet they went back to work with no new contract two weeks ago (IN mid August). I guess all of Obama’s golf outting and trips to Marxist Vineyard didn’t help much in stimulate the economy. Happy Labor Day everyone!

ObamaFAIL! Consumer Confidence Index plunges to it’s lowest level since April 2009
As America waits breathlessly for Obama’s “jobs” plan, some more bad news on Obamanomics have come out. According to The Conference Board, Consumer Confidence Index has plunged nearly 15 points since July to a pitiful low of 44.5. The Consumer Confidence Index hasn’t been this low since April of 2009 shortly after Obama began has wrath against America. Also, the Present Situation Index decreased to 33.3 from 35.7. The Expectations Index decreased to 51.9 from 74.9 last month.
