Poodle Head Debbie Wasserman-Schultz says Obama hasn’t closed Gitmo yet because the Republican Congress didn’t let him
I’m starting the think that Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is nothing more than a robot. She continually spews the, tired Marxist talking points, never adjusting the rhetoric actually prove a point. She’s almost like the Flo Robot from those Progressive Insurance commercials. The latest gems from this Marxist is that Obama hasn’t closed Gitmo yet because the Republican Congress didn’t allow him to do that. Seriously! The first two years of the Marxist Obama regime with full control of the House and Senate, and still those “obstructionist” Republicans somehow were able to block Obama from closing Gitmo. Even though they couldn’t stop ObamaCARE or Dodd-Frank they stopped Gitmo from closing! Isn’t that amazing! Oh also, the Republicans somehow forced Obama to extend the Bush tax cuts even with the Senate and House Democrat majorities. Watch the following video of Shepard Smith absolutely sucking up to Wasserman-Schultz. She almost seemed to gush over him too. That’s the first time she’s ever been pleasant to a Fox News “interviewer.” Watch the video at about 3 minutes and 50 seconds where Wasserman-Schultz blames the “Republican Congress” from preventing Obama from shutting down Gitmo. Great news! Two former Gitmo detainees training libyan rebels
As if the “flickers” of Al Queda members amongst the so called rebels in Libya weren’t good enough news. Now according to the Wall Street Journal, two former Afghan Mujahedeen and a six-year Gitmo detainees are training new recruits for the so called “Libyan upriseing” that America has already spent close to a billion dollars funding.

Code Pink of course is at to forefront of this push, to “welcome” the freed detainees to the city. One of them was on the Hannity show tonight named Holly Harwood. Appearing with Hannity and Jay Sekulow, Holly Harwood made the statement of how she would love the freed detainees to come to Berkeley. In fact, Holly Harwood is so excited about the prospect, that she has even set aside a bedroom in her home for them!

Yesterday it was reported that released Gitmo detainees returning to jihad doubles in just the last two years and as many as 1 in ever 4 released are now back on the battle field. But that’s no problem for the Obama regime. Just ask his Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs, PJ Crowley. When asked about this alarming statistic by Martha Maccallum, Crowley dusted it off and said: “We Actually Expected This to happen”

OMFG! THE HORROR! How could the evil Americans do this to poor, innocent detainees at Gitmo?! What kind of barbaric world do we live in? Oh wait. Bush isn’t in office, so I doubt human rights activists will go to extremes over the rationing of ice cream for detainees. Another Obama lie: Guantánamo Bay unlikely to shut down before 2013
Lets see. We are only a few days from July, which means Gitmo should have been closed about 6 months ago. If you were actually gullible enough to believe any of his promises. One of Obama major campaign promises was to close Gitmo by January of 2010. Of course that’s now come on gone. Now, according to the New York Times, it’s unlikely that Obama will fulfill his promise to close it before his term ends in 2013!

Despite pleas from his own party, Obama is sending Gitmo prisoners back to Yemen no matter what
Despite pleas from even far left Democrats such as Dianne Feinstein, Obama still plans to ship Gitmo prisoners back to Yemen regardless. Today on Fox News Sunday, Obama’s top counterterrorism adviser John Brennan said the administration “absolutely” intends to keep sending Guantanamo prisoners to Yemen. The administration has sent seven detainees to the country, Brennan said, with six of those sent in December, according to the Washington Examiner. Even Dianne Feinstein says stop the Gitmo transfers to Yemen!
How someone like Dianne Feinstein is even on the Senate intelligence committee is a bit of a head scratcher. I guess it’s kind of like Charlie Rangel writing our tax laws. Regardless, Feinstein doesn’t want any more Guantanamo Bay detainees released to Yemen in the wake of a Christmas Day terrorist attack hatched in that country according to the Hill:
“Guantanamo detainees should not be released to Yemen at this time,” Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said in a statement. “It is too unstable.”

Gitmo may have to stay open until at least 2011

US repatriates 12 Guantanamo scum, including 6 Yemenis
The US has transferred 12 detainees from its Guantanamo Bay prison camp to Afghanistan, Yemen and the Somaliland region, the Justice Department says. The BBC states that six Yemenis, four Afghans and two Somali detainees were sent to their homelands over the weekend, it said. Obama acknowledged in November that he would miss his January deadline to close down the camp.
It’s official! Gitmo Detainees Headed to Thomson Correctional Center in Illinois
Congrats to the great citizens of Illinois. As a consolation prize for not getting the 2016 Olympics for Chicago, you have been selected to house some of the world’s most dangerous terrorists! A senior Obama administration official has told ABC News that on Tuesday the administration will announce that Obama “has directed that the federal government proceed with the acquisition of the Thomson Correctional Center in Thomson, Illinois to house federal inmates and a limited number of detainees from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.”
December 22nd Rally in Sterling Illinois to stop Gitmo terrorists from being sent to Thomson Correctional Center
Yesterday the “leaked” DoJ memos came out about shipping the Gitmo terrorist scum to Illinois. Also, the Illinois legislature is also considering Governor Quinn’s (and the Obama Administration’s) plan to sell the Thomson Correctional Center,to the federal government to house the Gitmo detainees. The panel will meet in northwest Illinois, where the correctional center is located. Not everyone in Illinois is exactly thrilled about this news. As is mentioned on Big Government, a rally against sending these scum to Illinois is planned for December 22. The rally, organized by the Illinois Tea Patriots and the Band of Mothers, has been in the works since November when the Obama Administration’s plans initially surfaced. It is scheduled to be held three days before Christmas, on December 22, outside the State Officiated Public Meeting at Sterling High School, Sterling Illinois, at 1:00 pm.

Phillip Carter – official in charge of closing GITMO resigns
Phillip Carter was deputy assistant secretary of defense for detainee policy and the official in charge of closing Gitmo. Suddenly out of the blue on Wednesday he resigned, said the Pentagon. Phillip Carter submitted his resignation letter this past Friday after just under seven months in the post. The Pentagon claims Carter’s move was prompted by personal and family reasons. Great idea Obama – give Khalid Sheikh Mohammed grounds for a mistrial
Andy McCarthy at National Review Online writes this:
In a meeting with the press in China, President Obama said that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed would be “convicted” and had “the death penalty applied to him” . . . and then said he wasn’t “pre-judging” the case. He made the second statement after it was pointed out to him — by NBC’s Chuck Todd — that the first statement would be taken as the president’s interfering in the trial process. Obama said that wasn’t his intention. I’m sure it wasn’t — he’s trying to contain the political damage caused by his decision — but that won’t matter. He has given the defense its first motion that the executive branch, indeed the president himself, is tainting the jury pool. Nice work.
The Fix Was In! New York Governor David Paterson was told KSM was going to New York 6 months ago!
You probably heard yesterday that New York Governor David Paterson wasn’t exactly to thrill with KSM and the other Gitmo scum being transfered to New York for civilian trials. But what you might not have heard is another thing Paterson revealed. He said that the White House “warned him” six months ago that this very situation would happen. Paterson said while he disagrees with the decision, he will do everything in his power to make sure that the state’s Department of Homeland Security will keep New Yorkers as safe as possible. The Wall Street Journal also poses this interesting question:
Here’s a question: If the White House made up its mind about this six months ago–that would be in May, roughly four months after President Obama’s inauguration–why did it wait until last week to make the announcement? That it was the week after an election is bound to raise suspicions that the timing was politically motivated.
Virginia Democrat Jim Moran – If you are against bringing Gitmo scum to New York, you are un-american
I’ll say one thing for Democrats. They have sure cornered the market on un-american “slurs” at Americans who disagree with them. For those who don’t know who Jim Moran is, he is a congressman from Virginia’s 8th district. By his Moran’s “logic” 64% of Americans polled by CNN are un-American. According to TPM:
“They see this as an opportunity to demagogue,” he said. “They will seize on any opportunity to do that, and that means they’ll even take a stand that’s un-American.”
“It’s un-American to hold anyone indefinitely without trial,” Moran added. “It’s against our principles as a nation.”
Kinda like when Steny Hoyer and Nancy Pelosi called people who disagree with government’s takeover of healthcare un-american too.

Hey! Lets move Gitmo prisoners to supermax in Thomson Illinois!
Since every day it seems Obama and his porkulus is a complete and utter failure for creating jobs, liberals Dick Durbin (Illinois Senator) and Governor Pat Quinn have instead considered moving about 100 Gitmo scum to a supermax facility in Thomson, Illinois. Despite being completely funded by taxpayers (which democrats always seem to have problems remembering), Obama’s admin “economic impact analysis” says the federal purchase and operation of Thomson could generate $1 billion for the local economy over four years and create between 2,340 and 3,250 jobs according to the Chicago Sun Times. Now isn’t that special?

As insane as it is that these KSM and the other four muslim terrorist scum are even coming to New York for trial, one thing may have been lost in the translation with this happening. By transfering the GITMO scum, these a**holes now been granted
full rights and protection under the U.S. Constitution. According to the Last Crusade, the trial is expected to cost over $100 million and may drag on for many years. According to American Spectator, former Attorney General Michael Mukasey, who as a judge presided over a trial stemming from the first attack on the World Trade Center, on Friday warned that the Obama administration’s decision to bring 9/11 “mastermind” Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to New York, along with the other GITMO detainees, reflected that pre-9/11 mindset that viewed terrorism as a simple criminal matter. Also, under the Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution:
Mr. Mohammed and the other “alleged” terrorists will have the right to a speedy trial, the right to publicly paid counsel, the right to immediate access to all government evidence – – including the most sensitive intelligent files – – that can be used against him, the right to remain silent, the right to obtain witnesses in his favor, the right of protection against self incrimination, and the right to participate in jury selection.
