Harry Reid ‘embarrassed’ that he opposed raising the debt limit in 2006
Don’t worry dingy Harry Reid, America is embarrassed that you are a Senator. Just like Obama said it was a mistake to raise the debt limit in 2006, Harry Reid is nothing more than your progressive liberal flip-flopper. Dingy Harry conducted another softball interview with ABC’s Jonathan Karl and Amy Walter and said he was “kinda embarrassed” about opposing raising the debt limit when Bush was President.
Why was Chris Matthews in Harry Reid’s office?
I cringe to think what might have gone on in that office. But according to Politico reporter Manu Raju, Chris Matthews was spotted leaving Reid’s office for whatever reason. Boehner’s $38.5B in cuts amount to less than 6 percent of debt already incurred in fiscal year 2011
The so called “compromise” cut by John Boehner and Harry Reid last Friday is sounding more and more useless. According to CNSNEWS, the national debt has increased $653.4 billion since the 2011 fiscal year began last October. The pitiful $38.5 billion in cuts amounts to less than 6% of what has been accumlated since that time. Great job Boehner!

If you are a far left progressive like Harry Reid, you can come up with all kinds of reasons why you can’t come to some sort of agreement on the budget matters. Never mind the fact that Obama will veto any bill sent to him to fund our troops regardless if there’s going to be a government shutdown or not. House passes another stopgap budget bill – Obama threatens to veto
See, Obama WANTS the government to shutdown. The House of Representatives passed another stopgap budget bill that would fund the government for one week and the military for the rest of the year. The bill cuts another $12 billion in spending and was passed in the House by a margin of 247-181. Another “emergency” meeting between weeper of the House Boehner and Dingy Harry Reid is scheduled at the White House for later tonight. Obama has threatened to veto the bill, including funding the troops for the rest of the year.
No budget deal reached during “emergency meeting” at the White House after Obama’s busy day
Obama really had a busy day “working” to get a budget deal done. He popped off to Philadelphia earlier in the day to pimp green energy. Then he went off to New York to speaking at the annual convention of the National Action Network. That organization of course was founded by race baiter Al Sharpton. Obama finally found time in his busy schedule to meet with John Boehner and Harry Reid and discuss the budget, but nothing significant got done. According to Fox News, Obama said:

“We’re not there yet,” Reid said, but both sides were committed to hammering out a deal and keeping the government running past the Friday deadline.

Don’t defund NPR! I mean after all, where are we going to go for our dog racing stories that dingy Harry Reid and Lisa Murkowski where rambling on about on the Senate floor? You can mix this in with Harry Reid’s love for “cowboy poetry festivals” and you can see why our government (both Republicans and Democrats) absolutely suck. The bill for defunding NPR hasn’t even been brought the floor for a debate in the Senate, and likely wouldn’t for several weeks, yet they are talking about dog racing stories on NPR?

Senate Democrats threaten Boehner not to repeal ObamaCARE
The fireworks are set to begin on Wednesday when the 112th Congress begins. But already the filthy Senate Democrats are threatening GOP House members. Dingy Harry Reid wrote a letter to incoming House Speaker John Boehner warning the new GOP House against repealing ObamaCARE. From The Hill:

This is the issue of the day that was most important to me, not the Don’t ask, Don’ tell repeal. Thankfully the nightmare amensty “Dream Act” cloture vote failed today 55-41. It needed 60 yes votes to go to a full vote. Had this bill passed, I think it would have done far more damage to the country than repealing Don’t ask, Don’t Tell. Of course, i’m not military expert either. The RINO Republican idiots who voted yes on cloture for this included retiring Bob Bennett of Utah, DICK Lugar of Indiana who needs to get primaried in 2012 and sore loser Lisa Murkowski of Alaska.

Sorry porkfest Democrats and especially Republicans, Harry Reid’s Porkubus bill is dead! Yes, that $1.1 trillion monstrosity has been pulled by Harry Reid because he couldn’t muster enough votes (from even his own fraud Democrat party) to get it passed. Even the nine or so Republicans who would have voted for this pork filled bill weren’t enough to overcome it. Left wing Politico reports that outgoing loser Utah RINO Robert Bennett worked actively to round up as many as nine potential Republican votes for the porkubus bill, but these numbers rapidly evaporated amid personal attacks and the uproar this week over spending earmarks in the package.

Harry Reid accuses Obama of trying to “steal power” while claiming earmarks (aka pork barrel spending) are a “constitutional duty.” I don’t remember Obama ever opposing this ridiculous pork filled omnibus bill, nor do I remember any part of the constitution stating the earmarks (pork) are required by the Congress of the United States. Sharron Angle increases lead of dingy Harry Reid again!
Slip slidin’ away. There’s just one more week left in Harry Reid’s Senate career. Well, technically he will still be Senator UNTIL January when the new Congress takes over, but his time is nearly up. The latest Rasmussen poll shows Sharron Angle once again expanding her polling lead over read at 49% to 45% despite all of Obama’s recent trips to the state that he told people never to vacation in. This is now the fourth survey in a row that Sharron Angle has lead. This poll was obviously taken before the story broke about Harry Reid’s staffer faking a message to someone wanted by the Oklahoma City Joint Terror Task Force investigation.
