Did Obama even consult with Janet Napolitano directly on the Crotch Bomber Christmas Day attack?
CNS News caught up with Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano on February the 4th asking her this question. Asked that question by CNSNews.com, Napolitano at first declined to answer and then. She was asked again and said “we were in contact with the president’s office” that day. The White House told news organizations on Christmas Day that President Obama had ordered heightened air travel security immediately after he was first briefed on the attempted attack at about 9:00 a.m. Hawaii time (2:00 p.m Eastern) on Christmas Day and that he was repeatedly briefed on the incident during that day.

Feel safe yet? According to the Washington Times, Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair criticized the decision by FBI agents last month to question the Christmas Day airline bombing suspect as a criminal and not interrogate him as a terrorist.

Well, i know I feel safer. Knowing our DHS Secretary is somehow “surprised” at the Determination Of al-Qaeda. Who would have thought, a crazy muslim terrorist group is so determined to destroy, hurt and distrupt America! Surely, this has to be a new developement for al-Qaeda after all these years. This story actually came out about two weeks ago, but we missed it. Thankfully NewsBusters picked up the story originally posted at National Review Online on December 15th. Chuck Todd, NBC’s official White House slurper was on the Laura Ingraham radio show and revealed something rather interesting. When Laura Ingraham asked Todd on her radio show which Cabinet official would leave next, Todd said it would be Janet Napolitano — so she can serve on the Supreme Court. Chuck Todd said this:

Sleep easy America. Janet Napolitano is in charge. She didn’t really mean “the system worked”. The comment was all the media’s fault and taken out of context. At least that’s what Napolitano told Matt Lauer in an interview today. Now, the system worked, according to Napolitano, because after the system failed…there happened to be another passenger on the plane beside the terrorist.

According to Politico, Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) rebuked Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano Sunday for saying that the botched terrorist attempt to blow up an Amsterdam-Detroit airline flight Friday demonstrated that “the system worked.”
“The fact is the system did not work, and we have to find a bipartisan way to fix it. He made it on the plane with explosives and detonated the explosive,” King said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.” “If that had been successful, the plane would have come down and we would have had a Christmas Day massacre with almost 300 people murdered.”

I guess in the mind of liberals such as Napolitano, and this entire administration, this is what is considered “The system worked.”. This despite the fact the muslim Nigerian terrorist Abdul Farouk Umar Abdulmutallab was able to get on the flight in the first place. This also despite the fact he got on the flight after his father warned the Embassy back in November. Oh and the system works, even though the muslim was able to light his explosive, thankfully only giving himself 3rd degree burns. Yes, this is what this administration considers a working system per Politico:

Janet Napolitano’s failure is now complete – ‘Right Wing Extremism’ report is gone
The “Rightwing Extremism” report that warned of military veterans as possible recruits for terrorist attacks against the U.S. that now is said to not have been authorized, has been withdrawn and is being rewritten, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told Capitol Hill lawmakers according to the Washington Times.
“The wheels came off the wagon because the vetting process was not followed,” Ms. Napolitano told the House Homeland Security Committee on Wednesday.
“The report is no longer out there,” she said. “An employee sent it out without authorization.”

Those were just some of the topic brought up on Fox News Sunday. Janet Napolitano the secretary of Homeland Security was asked about the upcoming seat to be filled once Soulter retires. While not coming out and saying she was interested, she didn’t exactly deny being interested either, basically just dodging the question. But probably the best part was when Chris Wallace asked baby killer Kathleen Sebelius:
“Why would the vice president tell his family that [he would advise his them to avoid confined spaces, including subway travel and plane travel]? Are we to believe that the Vice President of the United States is a crackpot?”
And as one might expect. Left wing loon bloggers are crying in their spilled milk over this. Now, how could anyone call this man a crackpot?

Here we go again. Janet Napolitano does it again with her “followup” to hers April 7th report as Hotair.com puts it: casting conservative political positions as indicators of threats to national security. Also mentioning this Raw Story and the liberal biased Daily Beast. The DHS gives ideas how to detect “extremists”, which include the aforementioned opposition to drivers licenses for illegal aliens. Yet something is still strangely missing from this “report”. Hotair again provides the details (including the “Right Wing Extremists” info):

Hotair.com’s Ed Morrisey jcompleted an exclusive interview with Commander David Rehbein of the American Legion, who had just come out of a meeting with Janet Napolitano. According to the interview, Cmdr. Rehbein says that Janet Napolitano offered a much more complete apology for pathetic accusation in the DHS report on right-wing extremism that came out earlier this month. David Rehbein also believes that Napolitano will withdraw that report in favor of a better, more specific, and narrower report on actual threats.
House Republicans call for Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano to step down!
Janet Napolitano blames Canada for the 9/11 terrorists, blames Canada for their border, issues a report calling military vets right-wing extremists and terrorists, and now is in a bit of hot water. It will probably turn out to be nothing more than political posturing with the left in charge of this country, but it sends a message none-the-less. From Politico:

For those of you who don’t want CNN (and why bother unless you are a liberal. Anyway, the dumbing down of America, and those in charge of it continues. On the John King show, during an interview, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, the same one who wrote that “ring-wing extremist” vote which included returning home war veterens doesn’t exactly know much about illegal immigration.
NAPOLITANO: Well, you know, Sheriff Joe, he is being very political in that statement, because he knows that there aren’t enough law enforcement officers, courtrooms or jail cells in the world to do what he is saying.
What we have to do is target the real evil-doers in this business, the employers who consistently hire illegal labor, the human traffickers who are exploiting human misery.
And yes, when we find illegal workers, yes, appropriate action, some of which is criminal, most of that is civil, because crossing the border is not a crime per se. It is civil. But anyway, going after those as well.
Update: Now Napolitano is apparently pissing off Canada, accusing the country of allowing the muslim Saudi terrorists of allowing them into the US through their border!

Where is Janet Napolitano when we need her? Some right wing extremist sent a letter threatening to put bombs around Greeley, Colorado next week unless illegal immigrants are released from jail. Oh wait. This isn’t someone who is AGAINST illegal immigration, or has a Ron Paul Bumper sticker on their car more than likely. Therefore, much like Bill Ayers, this loser is just mainstream. Geraldo Rivera would be proud (man, I wish Fox would dump this dirtbag and ship him to MSDNC or smth).
