Moron Joe Biden blesses ‘late mother’ of Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen who is still alive

Another day, another embarrassment of this country by Joe Biden. The idiot Joe Biden who makes Dan Quayle look like a brain surgeon asked for God’s blessing for the late mother of Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen during a White House celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. There’s one big problem though. Cowen’s mother is much is still very much alive, and well. Biden also took another crack at Sarah Palin and her “hand notes” among other tasteless jokes he told.

“God rest her soul,” Biden said Wednesday night as he introduced Cowen and President Barack Obama. He quickly caught himself and noted that it’s Cowen’s father who is no longer living. Of the prime minister’s mother, Biden said, “God bless her soul.”

Biden then cited the Irish proverb that “a silent mouth is sweet to hear” and yielded the podium to the president.

It must be great being a Democrat/Liberal/Progressive having the media cover up any and every gaffe you make. Had a conservative made this gaffe, it would be front page news on every news paper, and run 24/7 on the liberal biased news networks. The latest example is the Associated Press. After eating lunch at a Saginaw restaurant and touring he Thomas Township headquarters of Hemlock Semiconductor Group, the AP quoted Biden as saying this:

“I absolutely refuse to accept the notion that the United States of America is not going to lead the world economically throughout the 21st Century,”

Problem is, what actually said was

“I absolutely refuse to accept the notion that the United States of America is not going to lead the world economically throughout the 20th Century,”

The dumbest Vice President in U.S. history continues his brilliance. On the one year anniversary of the signing of the $787 porkulus bill that has proven to be a complete and utter failure, Joe Biden asserted in an interview Wednesday that taxpayers have “gotten their money’s worth” out of the $787 billion stimulus program that Congress passed during the depths of the recession, according to the AP.

In an interview broadcast on CBS’s “The Early Show,” Biden defended the program against accusations by Republicans critics that it hasn’t been the job-manufacturing machine the administration promised to the American people.

He argued that money invested in both private and public-sector initiatives has saved as many as 2 million jobs, and said, “I don’t think they realize it.” Biden said the program, now a year old, was designed to be implemented in two stages, saying “we’ve only been halfway through the act.”

Christina Romer, who heads the White House Council of Economic Advisers, said in a separate interview that one component of the stimulus program had worked especially well. “State fiscal relief really has kept hundreds of thousands of teachers and firefighters and first responders on the job,” she said.

Scott Brown finds Joe Biden’s comments ‘insulting’

On Sunday’s “Face the Nation” Joe Biden took time out of his busy schedule running down people in his motorcade to whine about Scott Brown.

Today, Scott Brown fired back telling Politico:

“He’s trying to give me a lesson on military law, and I didn’t think it was appropriate,”And I thought he was off base when it comes to explaining to the American people that somehow I need a lesson on whether people get attorneys — of course they get attorneys. There’s a difference as to what type of attorney they’re going to get and when they’re going to get that attorney, and how are they treated, and what rights do they, in fact, get.”

Brown said he is particularly incensed by Biden’s remarks because he’s served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard for more than 30 years and is currently the Guard’s top defense attorney in New England.

“I know the military rules and regulations and procedures from A to Z,” Brown said.

Brown said he was spending time with his younger daughter, Arianna, who was home from Syracuse University, Sunday when he learned that Biden had taken a swing at him.

“I was actually surprised,” said Brown. When Biden swore him into office they had a nice chat, Brown said, and the vice president told him he could visit the vice presidential residence.

“I would have thought that he would have reached out personally rather than go through the media,” Brown said. “I’m not quite sure what the message to me was, but I felt that it was important enough to respond.”

During his campaign, one of the things Senator Scott Brown repeated, aside from being the 41st vote to kill ObamaCARE is that the United States should be spending money catching terrorists instead of spending money to give these terrorist scum lawyers. Today on “Face the Nation” the always brilliant Joe Biden tried to diss Brown

“So, it’s good if we begin to learn the facts about all these things. You get a lawyer whether you’re in a military tribunal, or you’re in a federal court,” Biden added.

Of course maybe for once Biden should actually know some facts. Scott Brown was a military lawyer. Of course he knows that there are defense lawyers in military tribunals. He also knows military tribunals don’t cost $200 million per year to conduct either.

Joe Biden’s motorcade was involved in an accident again! This time in Vancouver

This is now the fourth time Joe Biden’s methods of transportation have been involved in an accident. The driver obviously must be about as smart as Biden himself. According to Politico, this one happened in Vancouver, where Biden has been this past weekend as the leader of the U.S. delegation at the winter Olympics, and where he took his smack down from Dick Cheney today.

The incident resulted in minor injuries to two members of the delegation who were traveling in a van as part of the motorcade, according to a statement from Biden spokesman Jay Carney. Peggy Flemming, the gold medal-winning ice skater, and Vonetta Flowers, a gold medalist in women’s bobsledding, were taken to a local hospital as a precaution, Carney said.

“They were both evaluated and have since been released,” he said. “Neither the Vice President nor anyone else in his party was involved in the incident.”

The incident marks the fourth time Biden’s security detail has been involved in an accident. The other three took place in November. A car in Biden’s motorcade hit a sheriff’s deputy in New Mexico. The vice president’s advance security detail hit a cab in New York City. And while he was not in it, a vehicle in Biden’s motorcade killed a pedestrian in Maryland. Temple Hills, MD. — Carol E. The crash occurred when a vehicle in Biden’s motorcade rear-ended the one in front of it, sending that vehicle into a third, according to local news reports, which also say the crash is under investigation with an oil spill being considered as a possible cause. (9:02 p.m.).

Say what? Yes, the dumbest Vice President and “one heartbeat away” from the Presidency of the United States appeared on Larry King Live last night claiming that Iraq

“could be one of the great achievements of this administration. You’re going to see 90,000 American troops come marching home by the end of the summer. You’re going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government.”

The vice president said he’d been to Iraq 17 times and visits the country every three months or so. “I know every one of the major players in all the segments of that society” he said. “It’s impressed me. I’ve been impressed how they have been deciding to use the political process rather than guns to settle their differences.”

At the briefing today, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs was asked about Biden calling Iraq one of the great potential achievements of the Obama administration given that Biden had previously advocated that the country should be divided into thirds and split among Kurds, Shiites, and Sunnis, and then-Sen. Obama opposing the surge of US troops that many experts argue helped bring stability that allowed the reconciliation process to continue.

In fact, in January 2007 then-Sen. Obama said that he was “not persuaded that 20,000 additional troops in Iraq is going to solve the sectarian violence. In fact, I think it will do the reverse.”

Gibbs said the achievement was “putting what was broken back together and getting our troops home, which we intend to do in August of this year.”

A reporter pointed out that the Status of Forces Agreement to bring troops home was signed before the president took office.

Gibbs called that agreement “something I think that the political pressure that the president, as a then-candidate, helped to bring about.”

The nation “will long debate Iraq,” Gibbs said. “We will long debate whether at a very important moment in our effort to root out terrorism, particularly in Afghanistan and in that border region with Pakistan, whether we took our eye off the ball. I think historians will debate that long after we are gone.” Gibbs suggested that by invading Iraq the US was “occupy(ing) a country that until we got there didn’t have a single member of Al Qaida,” and taking its eye off the ball.

Gibbs said that “the vice president’s been deeply involved in fixing the political process there so that elections can be held and so that our troops can come home as scheduled this summer.”

Now the dumbest Vice President in American History is crying the blues over the 60 vote filibuster requirement. According to Politico, Joe Biden, seeming to lay the groundwork for the case for moving health care legislation forward without 60 votes in the Senate, described the super-majority rule as a perversion of the Constitution.

“As long as I have served … I’ve never seen, as my uncle once said, the Constitution stood on its head as they’ve done. This is the first time every single solitary decisions has required 60 senators,” he said at a Florida fundraiser, according to the pool report. “No democracy has survived needing a super majority.”

Is Afghanistan a nuclear state now? According to Joe Biden it is. Today on Good Morning America Diane Sawyer conducted an interview with Joe Biden on the subject of Afghanistan, but ignored an embarrassing gaffe from Biden. From Newsbusters:

Biden’s motorcade was involved in a fatal accident

Two Secret Service employees driving along the Suitland Parkway struck and killed a man early Wednesday morning in the vehicles the agency uses to transport moron Joe Biden, though Biden himself was not in the armored SUV or limousine at the time of the crash. The vehicles had just been flown back to the D.C.-area from Fort Lewis, Wash., where they had driven the vice president before and after he spoke to a crowd of troops for Veterans Day. The Hill has the full story:

Sgt. David Schlosser, spokesman for the U.S. Park Police, said the crash happened at 2:27 a.m. on Wednesday in Temple Hills, Md., at the intersection of Suitland Parkway and Naylor Road. The victim, whose name was not released because his next of kin had not been notified, was pronounced dead at Prince George’s Hospital on Wednesday morning, Schlosser said.

The circumstances of the accident, such as the color of the traffic light and the speed of the vehicles, were unclear but the Park Police was investigating.

Secret Service spokesman Malcolm Wiley said the employees involved in the accident remained at the scene and administered first aid to the man until an ambulance arrived to take him to the hospital.

As is customary Secret Service policy, the armored vehicles were flown to Fort Lewis on a military aircraft for the Tuesday event. They returned to the Air Force base in Maryland on Wednesday morning and the Secret Service employees were driving west along the Suitland Parkway to return them to a secure storage facility in D.C., which Wiley declined to name.

Schlosser said Park Police investigators and a crash reconstruction team were not treating the incident any differently because the vehicles belonged to Biden’s security detail. He said the investigation would take at least a week to complete and the vehicles would remain in a secure police lot until it was finished.

The sections of the Suitland Parkway and Naylor Road where the accident took place were closed to traffic for several hours Wednesday morning while the reconstruction team investigated the accident. By 7 a.m. all lanes were open to traffic again.

Biden was the speaker in Watertown on Sunday where maybe 250 people gathered (50 of them are with the media). The total population of Watertown is about 30,000. The event was open to the public, no one needed a ticket to get in but the room is only about 65% full. The whole event was nothing more than an attack on “right-wing extremists” and how bringing their “hatemongering” to the 23rd District. They also found time to diss Sarah Palin, Dick Armey and Rush Limbaugh. This from CNN:

Vice President Joe Biden challenged Republican voters in New York’s 23rd congressional district to teach conservative “absolutists” a lesson in the special House election Tuesday by voting for the Democratic candidate in the race.

“We aren’t asking you to switch your party,” Biden said at a rally for Democrat Bill Owens in Watertown, New York Monday morning. “We are just saying join us in teaching a lesson to those absolutists who say no dissent is permitted within your own party.”

The comments come a day after Republican Dede Scozzafava, who withdrew from the race Saturday amid heavy pressure from conservatives – endorsed Owens. Many high-profile Republicans, including Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, and Dick Armey, have already thrown their own support behind third-party conservative candidate Doug Hoffman.

In his remarks at the rally for Owens, Biden elicited boos from the crowd when he mentioned Palin, Limbaugh and Armey.

“The idea that Rush Limbaugh would handpick [the] successor is kind of unusual,” Biden said of the popular conservative radio host who has heavily backed Hoffman over the national party’s choice of Scozzafava.

“I would have thought the last person I would bring up to the North Country is Dick Armey,” Biden continued, pointing to the former Texas congressman and current chairman of the conservative group FreedomWorks. “He’s a decent guy, but he represents a view so alien it seems to me to the pragmatism to the North Country. Sarah Palin, a former governor – her views are real and consistent with Armey’s and Limbaugh’s and Dick Cheney’s.”

“This is a different ideology,” Biden continued. “This is different than anything I’ve known in my 45 years of being familiar with this district. You know, they may have any room for moderate views in the Republican Party upstate anymore, but let me assure you, we have room, we have room.

And democrats wonder why, that even with the Republican party still in shambles from the last 2 elections, they are trusted on less issues than Republicans, two Democrat governors in New Jersey and Virigina will be losing to Republicans in November, and someone as liberal as Deval Patrick in as flaming of a liberal state you will find this side of California, in Massachusetts Governor Deval L. The moron that is one heartbeat away from the presidency Joe Biden has struck yet again. During an AARP town hall meeting today, the moron Biden told the people in attedance that unless the Democrat-supported health care plan becomes law the nation will go bankrupt and that the only way to avoid that fate is for the government to spend more money. “And folks look, AARP knows and the people working here today know, the president knows, and I know, that the status quo is simply not acceptable,” Biden said at the event on Thursday in Alexandria, Va. “It’s totally unacceptable. And it’s completely unsustainable. Even if we wanted to keep it the way we have it. It can’t do it financially.”

“We’re going to go bankrupt as a nation,” Biden said.

“Well, people when I say that look at me and say, ‘What are you talking about? You’re telling me we have to go spend money to keep from going bankrupt?’” Biden said. “The answer is yes, I’m telling you.”

Its hard not to confuse Joe Biden with Dan Quayle these days. Both are equally stupid, both will probably go down in history as the absolute worst Vice Presidents in U.S. History. There is one glaring difference though. While Quayle might have been a moron, he was never said it was “corny” to be proud to be an American. Can’t say for that Joe Biden anymore. Yesterday, Joe Biden attended a naturalization ceremony at Camp Victory in Baghdad, Iraq for 237 U.S. servicemen from 59 countries, including Iraq. These 237 servicemen were sworn in as citizens of the United States of America. At the conclusion of of the ceremony, this is what Biden had to say: ”As corny as it sounds,” he told the troops, “Damn, I’m proud to be an American!”

No you moron Joe Biden. It is NOT corny to be proud to be an American. The only thing “corny” is your continued mouthing off, your “boss’s” pre-selected townhalls and the media licking both your backsides. Ask Ashley Biden if she think its corny to be snorting cocaine in America. With this moron being just “a heartbeat away from the presidency”, its even more of a reason to wish nothing bad ever happens to Obama.

I wonder if real man of genius also misread how bad his daughter Ashley Biden’s drug problem is too? The Obama administration “misread” the depth of the economic troubles it inherited and still expects more new jobs in the long term as the spending pace from the $787 billion stimulus plan quickens, Vice President Joe Biden said. According to Fox News:

Republican congressional leaders expressed disappointment about the impact of stimulus spending. “I’m very skeptical that the spending binge that we’re on is going to produce much good and, even if it does, anytime soon,” Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky said in a statement Sunday.

“I think the economy is just as likely to begin to recover on its own, wholly aside from this, before much of this has an impact.”

Biden, in an interview that aired on ABC’s “This Week,” said the 9.5 percent unemployment rate is “much too high.” The administration had predicted unemployment would stay below 8 percent with its stimulus plan.

“The figures we worked off of in January were the consensus figures and most of the blue chip indexes out there,” Biden said. “We misread how bad the economy was, but we are now only about 120 days into the recovery package.”

He cited the economic conditions inherited from the Bush administration. “It’s now our responsibility. So the second question becomes … is it the right package given the circumstances we’re in? And we believe it is the right package given the circumstances we’re in.”

While Biden argued that more jobs will be created in the coming months, House Republican leader John Boehner of Ohio said the GOP had wanted the bill to focus on small businesses and helping people keep more of what they earned.

During the fundraiser, Joe Biden praised Tim Kaine as the “great governor of New Jersey.” Theres only one problem Joe. Tim Kaine is the governor of Virginia. The current governor of New Jersey, Jon Corzine, who happens to be in the 30%s approval ratings, and is currently losing in polling against a republican running against him for governor is hardly “A great governor”. Don’t just take my word for it. Ask the people of New Jersey. I mean, how good could a governor be, if he’s losing to a REPUBLICAN in current polling, in a liberal state like New Jersey no less!
