Michelle Malkin tells it like is about McCain’s refusal to defend Sarah Palin

The so called “WAR HERO” that I backed as president, who ran a horrible, and cowardly campaign with his refusal to attack Obama on some key issues such as the whole Rev. Wright controversy during the debates and TV ads because “he was too honorable” is ticking off a lot of people, including myself. My belief is (and you don’t have to agree) that if Palin isn’t on the ticket as VP, and he goes with some snorefest like Huckabee, or Romney, or Pawlenty, McCain would have been lucky to win 6 states and would have lost the popular vote by 7-10%. Last night on the Jay Leno show, McCain was the guest, and not once defended Sarah Palin from the pathetic smear attempts since the election. Instead, when asked about the smears, McCain simply replied “These things happen”.  Michelle Malkin writes about how pathetic it was for McCain (or as she calls him McLame) not to mention anything about the smears.
