Wasn’t the whole excuse over at CNN that the reason why they got rid of Lou Dobbs is because they don’t want “opinions” on the air, and just give the “straight news”? Well, I guess that doesn’t apply when it comes to liberal causes. Take for example the little kid named Will Phillips from Lincoln Elementary in Arkansas, who refuses to do the pledge of allegiance until gays can marry. You may have seen the interview on CNN a few days ago, which was so obviously scripted it wasn’t even funny. Today CNN’s Kyra Phillips showed a recap of the scripted moment. After it was over, Phillips decided to put her OPINION into the ring, calling the “bullies” of the kids “Dork wads” and claiming the bullies are simply “jealous because Phillips is smarter than you”. I kid you not! This is what CNN has become! And does anyone still wonder why their ratings can’t even beat HLN anymore?

Before any loony liberals attempt to play the race card with my title of this post, “true liberal colors” has nothing to do with skin color, so save your energy. Juan Williams is generally a “fair” liberal. He doesn’t always make excuses for Obama, just 90% of the time when appearing either on Fox News Sunday, Special Report, or The O’Reilly Factor. He doesn’t usually just mindless bash anyone opposed to Obama and/or his policies. But he finally went overboard yesterday on Fox News Sunday. Creative Minority Report posted a video (and article) summarizing the debacle. Bill Kristol and Liz Cheney were on the panel discussing Pailin’s chanves in 2012. Williams attempts to elevate the debate by saying “Let’s look at the record” and then proceeds to accuse Sarah Palin of being “self centered” and a bad mother and says Palin “doesn’t even know whats going on with her family”. I guess I am to assume Williams knows everything going on himself better with Palin’s family?

The video doesn’t show Kristol’s response to Williams who replied: ‘At least she doesn’t bow to the emperor of Japan.’

You think MSNBC got hammered for using fake photoshopped pictures of Sarah Palin on last Friday’s show to mock her as we approach the release of her book this week? YOU BETCHA! Being that I never watch MSNBC, I read last week over at Newsbusters how Dylan Ratigan on the “Morning Meeting” show was cackling along with Contessa Brewer, and Time Magazines Jay Newton-Small. They’re “debate” consisted of the “Top Ten reasons” America is infatuated with Sarah Palin. Next time maybe those left wing losers should “debate” as to why they are so infatuated, jealous and fearful of Sarah Palin and other conservative women.

DYLAN RATIGAN: Before we begin this one, I want to apologize to Governor Palin and all of our viewers. On Friday, in a very misguided attempt to have some fun in advance of Sarah Palin’s upcoming book Going Rogue, our staff mistakenly used some clearly photoshopped images of Ms. Palin without any acknowledgment. And on behalf of the show, I would like to say that this was completely unacceptable. We should have never used those photos in the first place and you can rest assured we spent the weekend and Friday afternoon taking measures to make sure it will never happen again. I apologize.

Comcast set to buy NBC Universal from GE

General Electric’s propaganda network of NBC and MSNBC is about to be sold, to to cable TV operator Comcast Corporation. Comcast is expected to buy the controlling stake in NBC Universal, possibly this coming week. No word yet if the left wing propaganda networks will change at all under Comcast’s control, rather than Jeffrey Immelt’s General Electric. Don’t hold your breath though. The AP has more:

“This is highly symbolic,” said Tim Brooks, who had worked at NBC for 20 years and now writes books on television history.

Starting Sunday, Vivendi SA has an option to sell its 20 percent stake in NBC Universal. Majority owner General Electric Co. is expected to buy it and then sell a 51 percent stake of the entire NBC Universal unit to Comcast, which serves about a quarter of the nation’s subscription TV households.

Broadcast people, the folks who remember when television was ABC, CBS, NBC and little else, used to look down upon cable.

The idea of broadcast TV was implied in the name; the networks tried to reach the broadest possible audience. For cable it’s important to do something specific and do it well, and the audience doesn’t need to be as large.

NBC Universal Chief Executive Jeff Zucker recognizes this. Cable properties such as USA, SyFy, CNBC and The Weather Channel mean more to NBC Universal’s bottom line than staggering NBC, fourth place in the ratings.

On Sunday’s Face the Nation on CBS, Bob Schieffer tried to defend the fact that the Fort Hood mass shooter was a muslim. Saying:

“It’s looking more and more like he was just, sort of, a religious nut. And you know Islam doesn’t have a majority”

Then he stops and says the following about Christians

” the Christian religion has its full, you know, full helping of nuts too.”

Schieffer made the comments while speaking to Senator Lindsey Graham, who agreed that Muslims do not have “a corner” on extremism. Schieffer went on to wonder what role political correctness played in the shooter, Major Nidal Hasan, not being held accountable for radical comments he made prior to the attack: “Do you think the fact that he was a Muslim may have caused the military to kind of step back and be reluctant to challenge him on some of this stuff for fear that they’d be accused of discrimination or something like that?”

Graham replied: “I hope not. I hope – I hope that’s not the case….his actions do not reflect on the Islamic – Muslim faith” Schieffer added: “Well, I’m not suggesting that they do.” Promoting the very political correctness that Schieffer asked about, Graham argued: “But some people are. Some people are, and I want to say, as a United States Senator, that I reject that….Let’s don’t accuse people of basically giving him a pass because he’s a Muslim. Because I don’t think there’s any evidence of that.”

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (WABC) — Jason Shih, an Assistant Deputy Director to the campaign of NJ Gov. Jon Corzine was arrested last night on drug charges.

East Rutherford police say they pulled over the 25-year-old on Route 17 for driving while using a cell phone.

Police say they found 19 ecstasy pills and several hundred glassine envelopes.

He was charged with possession of a controlled narcotic and paraphernalia that is used for distribution.

One would expect a statement like this to draw a gasp, or hesitation from the host, and producers of the show, but Behar, being the complete liberal hag that she is had a good chuckle at this, as did the producers as you can hear in the following audio/video. Let us all remember, MSNBC is a “real” news channel. There is no sort of bias whatsoever on that “network”, at least according to Obama. Only Fox News isn’t really “news”, but rather talk radio. Frank Gaffney and Ron Reagan Jr. were the “guests” on tingle leg Chris Matthews show, discussing the conditions in Afghanistan while Obama dithers. Ron Reagan Jr . of course is your typical run of the mill liberal, and a disgrace to the Reagan name. Towards the end of the segment, Frank Gaffney says to Reagan Jr. :

“Your father would be ashamed of you,”

with Reagan Jr. responding:

“You better watch your mouth about that” -

Of course, the big powerful Reagan Jr is in Seattle, while Gaffney is in New York, so Reagan can put on the big tough guy act. After the exchange, Chris Matthews got another tingle up his leg saying:

the group in this country that most resembles the Taliban, ironically, is the religious right.

Thankfully, I’m not an overly religious person myself. I don’t have to hide my turban. But if you are on the right, and religious you’d better hide that turban.

According to of all places, the New York Times, Obama spent Monday’s “off the record” press briefing with the likes of Keith Olbermann, Rachael Maddow, Eugene Robinson of the Washington Post, Maureen Dowd of the New York Times, Gwen Ifill of PBS and Gloria Borger of CNN to bitch and moan and cry like a little baby liberal about Fox News:

Speaking privately at the White House on Monday with a group of mostly liberal columnists and commentators, including Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann of MSNBC and Maureen Dowd, Frank Rich and Bob Herbert of The New York Times, Mr. Obama himself gave vent to sentiments about the network, according to people briefed on the conversation.

Yesterday on (of course) NBC, the baby in chief in an interview with NBC’s Savannah Guthrie (who looks like she’s getting a tingle up her leg all interview), Obama compared Fox news to “talk radio”. Since Fox News is talk radio, when are Beck, or O’Reilly or Hannity or even Greta going to start taking live calls during their shows?

During this segment of “Morning Joe” the discussion again was about the White House’s continued whinefest and attacks at Fox News. Jake Tapper’s questions to Gibbs yesterday as to why that is happening made news around the blogs, and apparently to MSNBC to. Someone at the White House (undoubtedly dead fish Rahm Emanuel) e-mailed MSNBC during a discussion about the Tapper/Gibbs incident

“The White House did just e-mail saying that interaction with Jake Tapper was not heated…”

With all of Obama’s whining about the Fox News Network for not towing the line and bowing to him and his left wing agenda, Obama looks like he’s found another way to “get revenge” against Fox (sarcasm). Seems, that according to a White House official, Obama had an “off-the-record” briefing with Olbermann and Maddow of MSNBC. You know, MSNBC the far left wing network with “real news” programs such as big fat eD, Olbermann, Maddow, Tingle Leg Matthews, Shuster, etc? Jake Tapper is always someone who tries to come off as a “moderate” and not your run of the mill typical press liberal hack. Anyone who uses twitter though and sees his tweets will know Tapper is nothing more than a liberal press hack in disguise. From making excuses about Anita Dunn and Van Jones, to trashing any conservative who dare don’t tow the liberal line on Obama. So today was his chance to to appear as a “watchdog” again and questioned Gibbs about the White House’s whinefest about Fox News

Tapper: It’s escaped none of our notice that the White House has decided in the last few weeks to declare one of our sister organizations “not a news organization” and to tell the rest of us not to treat them like a news organization. Can you explain why it’s appropriate for the White House to decide that a news organization is not one –

Gibbs: Jake, we render, we render an opinion based on some of their coverage and the fairness that, the fairness of that coverage.

Tapper: But that’s a pretty sweeping declaration that they are “not a news organization.” How are they any different from, say –

Gibbs: ABC -

Tapper: ABC. MSNBC. Univision. I mean how are they any different?

Gibbs: You and I should watch sometime around 9 o’clock tonight. Or 5 o’clock this afternoon.

Tapper: I’m not talking about their opinion programming or issues you have with certain reports. I’m talking about saying thousands of individuals who work for a media organization, do not work for a “news organization” — why is that appropriate for the White House to say?

Gibbs: That’s our opinion.

Poor Gibbs. As if you don’t know 5pm is Glenn Beck’s show and 9pm is Hannitys. Two OPINION shows. You know, like Maddow, Olbermann, Big fat eD, Tingle Leg Matthews, etc.

I guess this is what qualifies as humor these days. At least for liberals and their liberal rags. Today’s “La Cucaracha” comic strip, appearing in the Chicago Sun-Times smears Limbaugh with this quote:

Conservative broadcaster Rush Limbaugh is trying to purchase a stake in an NFL franchise. If the deal goes through, Limbaugh hopes to change the team’s name to “The St. Louis Klans.”

Whats ironic and funny (or sad) is, DEMOCRAT Senator of West Virgina Robert Byrd is a former Klans man. Yet I stil have yet to see any media outlet, liberal rage, or magazine run any sort of cartoon “La Cucaracha” mocking him. Hey Rush! Lawyer up and sue the f*ck out of these smear merchanst!

Newsweek mocks Charles Krauthammer says Dems should spend more!

Jonathan Alter’s article in Newsweek magazine that will hit store shelves on October 26th not only encourges Democrats to “move away from Republican ideas” and spend more, but also takes a crass shot at Charles Krauthammer with the intentional distortion of the spelling of his last name. Here is the quote from the article:

Charles Kraut-hammer doesn’t represent any swing voters.

Is there a reason to seperate Krauthammer’s last name with a -? Is this what Newsweek “journalists” have resorted to in an attempt to push their ideology on whatever few readers they have left? Maybe its simply that a fact that Jonathan Alter is excited about getting hair plugs, payed for by other Americans , through Obamacare.
