Hopefully after Obama gets destroyed in the election in November, the Obamas’ can move to Cuba or something and be happier. Of course, Chicago isn’t really much different than a Communist country anyway.

“Expenses for the two-week trip appear to have far exceeded $467,175 in light of the fact that costs associated with the aircrafts — two Boeing 747s and several Air Force cargo planes – have not been made available,” stated Judicial Watch (JW) in a press release today about the expense records it obtained through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

Now lets ponder for a second if Laura Bush had said she was distressed that a small group of “black, atheist or Muslim families” locked up power in a state. Think it would be all over the news 24/7 as some sort of breaking scandal?

The president has threatened for weeks that lawmakers not go home for the holidays until a compromise is agreed upon. The first lady, however, is not waiting to see how the standoff ends. She and her daughters are heading to Hawaii this evening to start their family vacation, with or without the president.

The first lady responded, “I’d love to” and brought an aide over to get his information. The first lady met Leeks at a Toys-for-Tots event at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling located in southeast Washington, DC.

According to U.S. Department of Defense’s published hourly rates for the C-32A aircraft used for the trip, Judicial Watch calculated the total cost to American taxpayers was $424,142 for use of the aircraft (34.8 flight hours x $12,188 per hour). (The C-32 is a specially configured military version of the Boeing 757.) Other expenses – meals (off the plane), transportation, security, various services, etc. – have yet to be disclosed.
The passenger manifests confirm the presence of Obama’s daughter’s, Malia and Sasha on the trip. The two girls are listed as “Senior Staff.” The manifests also list Mrs. Obama’s mother, Marian Robinson, and niece and nephew, Leslie and Avery Robinson, as well Mrs. Obama’s makeup and hairstylist (Carl Ray and Johnny Wright).
The expense records also show $928.44 was spent for “bulk food” purchases on flight. Overall, during the trip, 192 meals were served for the 21 passengers on board.

“He understands these issues, not just because he’s smart but because he’s lived them,” Obama told a group of 100 campaign donors at a $2,500-a-plate luncheon in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.
“He was raised by a single mother who struggled to put herself through school and pay the bills. And when she needed help, who stepped in? His grandmother, waking up early every morning to take a bus to her job at the bank,” she said.

He’s got my vote!

At least lardass Mooch Obama wouldn’t be taking her own corporate jet back this time.  You might recall that before Hussein Obama headed to Marxist Vineyard, Mooch decided to leave on her own jet about four hours early.

I shouldn’t be surprised that Michelle Obama is fond of Vodka. It’s the Communist Russian’s favorite liquor after all.

Not only is the Obama family on a 10 day, multi million dollar tax payer funded vacation in snotty Martha’s Vineyard, but they took two “corporate jets” to get there from D.C. The first witch Michelle Obama couldn’t wait an extra four hours to get going on the vacation. White House Dossier reports that Michelle Obama decided to take her own corporate jet separately from Barack Obama to Martha’s Vineyard. This of course is not only a major carbon footprint, but just unnecessarily wastes more tax payer.

The extra costs related to Mrs. Obama’s solo trip mainly include the flight on a specially designed military aircraft she took instead of Air Force One, as well as any extra staff and Secret Service that had to be enlisted to go with her. She would also have had her own motorcade from the airport to her vacation residence.

And still, crickets from the media.

First Lady Michelle Obama over the last year has spent a total of 42 days on vacation, or a little more than one out of every nine days, according to a White House Dossier analysis of her travel.

Her vacations, the cost of which are mostly borne by taxpayers, include trips to Panama City, Fla., Martha’s Vineyard, Hawaii, South Africa, Latin America, Vail, Colo., and her visit this week to her brother in Corvallis, Ore.

The total does not include a nine day sojourn in Martha’s Vineyard that the Obamas will enjoy this month. Nor does it include a trip she made to Ireland and Great Britain in May, which I’m counting as official travel.

Mrs. Obama’s vacations began in August 2010 with a two day weekend trip to Panama City, Fla., where the Obamas stayed overnight at a Gulf of Mexico hotel in a symbolic effort to show that the Gulf area was safe for travel in the wake of the disastrous BP oil spill.

In December 2010, with President Obama delayed because Congress was still in town, Mrs. Obama decided to leave without him for their annual Hawaiian vacation, racking up at least $63,000 in additional costs because she travelled alone.

ABC News’ Devin Dwyer (@devindwyer) reports: On the president’s 50th birthday, First Lady Michelle Obama says her husband’s ever graying hair is “proof” he’s handled his the job well, and deserves re-election in 2012.

“Every day, I see Barack make choices he knows will affect every American family,” Mrs. Obama said in an email blast to supporters. “That’s no small task for anyone — and more proof that he’s earning every last one of those gray hairs.”

Wait. Wasn’t it a couple of weeks ago when Michelle Obama insisted that Obama wasn’t going gray and he doesn’t dye his hair?

Based on the plane’s tail number and a description of it in a press pool report, it’s clear Mrs. Obama flew over and back on a C-32, a specially configured military version of the Boeing 757 that also ferries the vice president on occasion and is sometimes known as “Air Force Two.”

According to publicly available Defense Department figures, DOD charges other federal agencies $12,723 an hour to cover expenses for the use of a C-32. Based on the distance traveled and the flight speed of the plane, this adds up to about $430,000 for use of the aircraft alone.

Perhaps the best estimate of the other costs involved in such a trip comes not from official sources but from a reporter, Dana Milbank of the Washington Post. In a 2002 article, he wrote that his reporting had found that a single presidential fundraising trip within the United States by then-President George W. Bush could cost close to $100,000 for items like staff, Secret Service and advance work.
