Obama denied and embarassed by his own democratic controlled Senate, AND a Federal Judge on Gitmo
Michelle Malkin has all the details of the stories breaking today. The Senate amendment scrapping funding for Obama’s Gitmo closure has just been passed by 90-6. The decision represents a potentially serious setback for Obama, who as a candidate vowed to close Gitmo and signed an executive order beginning the process soon after he took office. Also today a federal judge rules that the US can continueindefinite detention of enemy combatants. U.S. District Judge John Bates’ opinion issued Tuesday night limited the Obama administration’s definition of who can be held. But he said Congress in the days after Sept. 11, 2001 gave the president the authority to hold anyone involved in planning, aiding or carrying out the terrorist attacks. Back to the ordering pizza for awhile Hussein while you think up what to do!

Obama “turns on” Andrea Mitchell
NBC’s Andrea Mitchell appeared on the PBS show Charlie Rose on Wednesday night, and discussed what aroused her political zones. Rose clumsily asked which story “turns you on,” and naturally, Mitchell said “this young president” with a globe-traveling upbringing and his team of “meritocracy,” an “extraordinary group of very large figures,” stars who will resolve today’s crises. Mitchell decried the idea that new media would trouble the President’s first days: “I guess my passion is for something to happen to fix these problems and for dialing down of all of the sharp criticism that we have on cable talk, on talk radio, from the, you know….the blogosphere. I just wish that we could find something in the center that would be bipartisan and would be productive and constructive.”

Media Matters pushed them to cancel but there was no nutroots groundswell that I’m aware of. They knew what they were getting when they booked her considering what happened the last time she was on and her tendency to refer to The One in interviews as “B. Hussein Obama.” Scheduling her put them in a spot where they’d either have to go through with it and spoil their new liberal Olber-brand or cave and be ridiculed endlessly for lefty pandering by O’Reilly and Fox. So, er, why’d they do it? And why would someone at the show give a quote that juicy to Drudge knowing what he’d do with it, given that he’s a friend of Coulter’s and dependably promotes her books whenever a new one drops? Anyone else find this strange/stupid, even by NBC’s standards?

Late today, NBC News denied the story with this statement: “We’ve had Ann Coulter on ‘Today’ many times, but because of the news in Washington and the Middle East, we decided to cancel her appearance tomorrow. Understanding the media as well as she does, we are sure she knows this happens from time to time. We look forward to welcoming her back in the future.”…
The Drudge story says NBC “replaced Coulter with showbiz reporter Perez Hilton,” who also has a book being released tomorrow. NBC tells TVNewser Hilton is just appearing in the fourth hour and had been booked far in advance.
“The news in Washington and the Middle East” is sufficiently dire to leave no time for Coulter but some time for Perez Hilton?
According to Olbermann – Sarah Palin palling around with drug dealers?
Gotta love liberal losers like Keith Olbermann, and all the others in the MSM, as they continued to defend Hussein Obama’s associations with terrorists like Bill Ayers, racist America hating preachers like Rev Wright, etc as nothing more than guilt by association. It turns out that Sherry Johnston, mother of Bristol Palin’s fiance Levin Johnston was arrested at her home in Wasilla by Alaska state troopers with a search warrant for an undercover drug investigation. Turns out Olbermann on “Countdown,” said Sherry Johnston was busted for meth, when it turns out that it was actually oxycontin. Olby could have waited to find that out instead of speculating, but why bother when meth jokes are so much more fun? That’s the Murrow way, after all. BTW, Bristol Palin is due to give birth this coming week. That wouldn’t have anything to do with the BS would it now Olby? Which was worse? SNL’s summer long cracking on Sarah Palin, or a one show dig at Gov Paterson?
I admit I used to watch Saturday Night Live in my high school/early college years in the late 80s-90s, but haven’t watched the show in 15+ years. SNL which had seen its ratings going into the tank for years continually ragged on Sarah Palin as many of you know over the course of the presidential campagne. Bleeding heart libs applauded this, and many conservatives thought it was disgusting the way they treated Palin. One show however, Palin actually attended and did the famous: “Live from New York its Saturday Night!”, showing what a good sport she was, despite the vile and vicious attacks. This past Saturday, SNL, while bagging on Fox News, also did a skit on New York’s blind Gov. Paterson. Gov. David A. Paterson’s communications director, Risa B. Heller, said that the skit amounted to nothing more than cheap ridicule. Wow really? No kidding. What exactly was all the Palin trashing over the summer then? Poor little liberals can dish it out but can’t take it.
Whos shoeless at MSNBC or CNN today? Egyptian throws two shoes at Dubya
Its time to start checking the feet of “reporters” at the LMSM, especially those at CNN and MSNBC. Today in Baghdad, someone threw two shoes right at dubya as he dodged both of them. I wonder what would have happened had the same thing happened to Hussein Obama? What kind of racial outcries would there be today? BTW, The MSNBC correspondent, commenting on the incident in which the Iraqi TV journalist threw two shoes at President Dubya Bush today, said the shoes “sailed over his head.” Not so much MS National Barack Channel. If you watch the video you will see that a very nimble and quick George Bush dodges both shoes, which, from their trajectory, both would probably have hit him in the face had he not taken evasive action. But, why would anyone in the mainstream media, let alone anyone at MS National Barack Channel want to imply the Iraqi journalist had bad aim than to give Bush any credit whatsoever.?
Palin’s Alaska Church Damaged in Suspicious Fire
Of course, hardly any liberal MSM has posted anything about this, other than the AP, and Fox News (highly regarded as part of the Right Wing Conspiracy) by the liberal loons. Had this been Hussein Obama’s racist church, with that scumbag pastor Rev Wright, this would be BREAKING NEWS flashing all over CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, etc. Here is the info from Fox News and Hotair:
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Gov. Sarah Palin’s home church has been badly damaged in a suspicious fire.
Larry Kroon, pastor of the Wasilla Bible Church, estimates damages at more than $1 million to the church.
Kroon declined to say if the blaze was politically based or directed at Palin, the failed Republican vice presidential candidate.
Kroon says the fire broke out Friday night while a small group of women were working on crafts. They were alerted to the blaze by a fire alarm.
Kroon says he was called and by the time he got to the church, smoke was pouring out of the building. Sprinklers kept the fire from spreading beyond offices and classrooms.
Authorities are not immediately commenting, but Kroon says he’s been told the fire is being investigated as a crime.

NBC and Andrea Mitchell Protecting Obama from Biden’s Gaffe?
I don’t know if what Biden said should be considered a “gaffe” or not, because the fact of the matter is, if god forbid HUSSEIN Obama does get elected, all America haters in the world will be jumping for joy and know what a weak slime Obama is. But as usual, Andrea Mitchell and the National Barack Channel, aka NBC are hiding the truth as to what Biden said in order to protect Hussein. On Sunday, Joe Biden said the following:
Barack Obama’s election as President would, within six months, result in ‘an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.’ Biden further added that the American people would not perceive Barack Obama’s response to this crisis as correct. ‘It’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right,’ he said.
Does Biden know something we don’t? Anyway on NBC Nightly News last night, when Andrea Mitchell “reported” (and i use that term lightly, especially when it comes to her and NBC) on Biden’s remarks, she chose to show a tape of Joe Biden talking about how Barack Obama has ’steel in his spine.’ on the same day, at the same rally.
You want this kind of change America? Just you wait!
McCain Destroys Obama in debates according to polls conducted by: FoxNews, Drudge 3 to 1, vote.com 4-1, CNN and NBC polls mysteriously dissapear!
Hmmm.. Isn’t this interesting? Most people who watched the debate, who aren’t bleeding heart liberals will admit John McCain absolutely destroyed Obama. Obama appeared many times to be pissed off, tried to interrupt, and on *8* different times said “John, you are absolutely right”. The polls taken around the internet also reflected this. FoxNews Poll has McCain winning by a margin of 4 to 1 at the time of this post. The Drudge Report’s poll was 3 to 1, and Vote.com had a margin of 4-1. Blatantly Obama biased media networks such as NBC and CNN had polls at one time online right after the debates, but somehow, they vanished from the site. Why exactly is this NBC and CNN? Afraid of the truth?
MSNBC gets owned yet again, forced to kick Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews as co-anchors of political night coverage
Looks like MSNBC is feeling the heat for the far left liberal bias, and continued personal attacks on Sarah Palin. According to the Associated Press, MSNBC is replacing Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews as co-anchors of political night coverage with David Gregory, and will use the two “newsmen” (and i use this term loosely) as commentators. The change reflects tensions between the freewheeling, opinionated MSNBC and the impartial newsgatherers at NBC News. Throughout the primaries and summer, MSNBC argued that Olbermann and Matthews could serve as dispassionate anchors on political news nights and that viewers would accept them in that role, but things fell apart during the conventions. Maybe, the old, bitter, washed up sports anchor from Channel 5 KTLA news in Los Angeles can get a job back there again during political night. Now, if MSNBC would can its other far-left “reporters”, such as Andrea Mitchell and others. But we know this will never happen.
Andrea Mitchell gets owned by a balloon attack at the end of the RNC
Absolutely classic video of “Ms. Mitchell” getting “attacked” by the balloon drop at the end of the RNC last week. Of course, at the end of the video, the old, washed up, ESPN reject Keith Olberman makes a snide little remark (as usual) too. I’m sure Olberman loved the Greek Temples at Obama’s convention though. Flags rescued from Democratic convention trash bins!
Well i already knew Obama was low, didn’t really care about his country, and is only interested in promoting himself, but this may finally take the cake. We all know about Obama’s wife finally becoming “proud of her country” in Februay of this year. We also know about Obama’s refusal to wear the American Flag pin, which he was later pressured into doing, and the refusal of Obama to put his hand over heart during the playing of the national anthem, but folks, Obama has gone even lower. McCain supporters, rescued 12,000 miniature American flags from the site of Barack Obama’s nomination acceptance speech last Thursday, redistributed the orphan flags to audience members ahead of a McCain rally in Colorado Springs on Saturday. Accoring to Fox News, the flags were discovered by a vendor at Denver’s Invesco Field after the conclusion of the Democratic National Convention. The vendor supposedly found trash bags full of flags in and near garbage bins, and turned them over to the McCain campaign. Boy Scouts were sorting through 84 bags of flags in Colorado on Saturday, before a McCain supporter had veterans distribute them to the audience. To add to the disgust, not one of the three major networks, CBS,NBC, or ABC even bothered mentioning this controversy on their nightly news. CNN barely even made a mention of this. Can’t say i’m terribly surprised.
What a country we live in. To have someone like Obama running for president who’s wive hated American for her 44 years living in this country, the candidate himself showing no remorse over attending an American hate filed church for 20+ years, and someone who is best buds with a known terrorist like William Ayers. Maybe Oprah just payed for those flags.

Ms. Mitchell may have finally gotten something right (for a change). Andrea Mitchell seems to think that the Sarah Palin pick for VP to John McCain may be a bad thing. And you know something? The stuck up arrogant you know what might be right. Only problem is, she doesn’t realize that its bad for the slimy democrats who have recently started questioning her pick because “she is a mother of 5″, or “her 17 year old daughter is 5 months pregnant)”. Whats funny is, these Obama jock sniffers don’t seem to have one bit of concern about whether or not Obama should be questioned should (god forbid), he make it to the white house, with his two young daughters. Notice an irony here? Obama lickers, as well as democrats have now officially gone off the deep on and showing their true colors as being not only racist, but also sexists as well. John McCain had not set a “threshold” that his vice presidential pick would be someone “ready to step in on a moment’s notice.” In fact, McCain has said that the “overwhelming priority” for his selection “is a person who shares my principles, my values, my priorities … and could be — immediately take my place.”

NBC’s Brian Williams and Andrea Mitchell on Friday night used their presumption, that Senator Joe Biden is Barack Obama’s VP choice, to showcase, for a second straight night, the Obama campaign’s attack on John McCain over his inability to say how many homes he owns. In setting up the lead Nightly News story on VP speculation, Williams highlighted how “the Obama camp is telling the McCain campaign people who live in that many houses shouldn’t throw stones.”
After asserting that “it is looking more and more like Senator Joe Biden is the choice,” reporter Andrea Mitchell contended “Biden, with blue collar roots, could help reinforce Obama’s latest message” conveyed in an Obama TV ad: “Call it country club economics. How many houses does he own?”
Following her story, Williams returned to what interested him the most: “Back to the McCain campaign and this issue they’re fighting which you predicted yesterday would go down as one of those moments in a campaign. Does this live on and on and on, do you think?” Mitchell maintained it’s now an “emblematic” issue which arrived “just when” Obama “needed it.” So, what a coincidence the media have pounced to assist Obama. Mitchell answered:

Andrea Mitchell accuses John McCain of “hearing” Obama’s answers to Rick Warren
I could say that the obviously biased media reached a new low on Sunday, the 17th of August 2008, but i’m sure that this will be exceeded. NBC’s Andrea Mitchell on the popular show Meet the Press seems to think that John McCain’s “crisp, immediate, forceful” responses to Pastor Rick Warren at a presidential forum on faith were due to the fact that McCain was not sealed in a sound protected room after all, or the “Cone of Silence”. Here’s what she had to say from the Meet the Press transcripts:
MR. GREGORY: Andrea Mitchell, that’s a pretty clear contrast.
MS. ANDREA MITCHELL: Oh, absolutely. And, you know, there was the crisp, immediate, forceful response by John McCain, clearly in a comfort zone because he was with his base. And Barack Obama, taking a risk in going there but seeing an opportunity. And a much more nuanced approach. The Obama people must feel that he didn’t do quite as well as they might have wanted to in that context, because that–what they’re putting out privately is that McCain may not have been in the cone of silence and may have had some ability to overhear what the questions were to Obama.
MR. GREGORY: Right.
MS. MITCHELL: He seemed so well prepared.
So let me see if I understand this “Ms. Mitchell”. If someone comes off as prepared, forceful, and doesn’t come up with cop outs like “above my pay grade”, that means the other candidate is either cheating or listening through some secret wall?
