Rick Perry slams John McCain, Romney At CPAC – says they aren’t conservatives (Video)
Eh, I don’t know about Rick Perry. He was an epic dud as a candidate that could have eliminated Romney in the first place and enthusiastically supported RINO David Dewhurst for the Texas Senate seat instead of Ted Cruz. Still, Rick Perry is far more conservative than the two RINOs he rightfully bashed (McCain and Romney) and his speech was great at CPAC. Perry also bashed Obama for releasing criminals into the streets to make cheap political points. Again, dead on right for Perry. Below is his full CPAC 2013 speech:
Rick Perry can’t remember what departments he’d cut, but he calls on Mitt Romney to release his tax returns (Video)
Imagine. I was going to vote for this guy too before he came up and proved how dumb he was during the debates. Now Rick Perry is trying for revenge against Mitt Romney after he got destroyed in the debates demanding Mitt Romney release his tax returns, and playing right into the media’s narrative. The pink slime media is of course giddy with Perry’s demands that Romney release more than the 2 years of tax returns he already has, and they are high fiving each other on Twitter. You know who else wants more Romney tax returns? Bitter, outgoing RINO DICK Lugar. You’re in good company Ricky.

Texas governor Rick Perry endorses Mitt Romney
While the GOP primary is likely over, endorsements from conservatives can only help Mitt Romney. Romney needs to establish his conservative “street cred.” Rick Perry was popular with religious conservatives, so his endorsement of Romney is good news. Originally Rick Perry had endorsed Newt Gingrich, but there have been reports today that Gingrich will suspend his campaign this coming Tuesday.
Newt Gingrich / Rick Perry 2012?
This sounds interesting. Rick Santorum calls this a desperate hail mary. Most people figure that Newt Gingrich needs to win this coming Tuesday’s Alabama and Mississippi primaries if he is going to have any real chance of becoming the GOP nominee. Now, according to Fox News, there are rumors floating around that say preliminary “what-if” conversations are underway that could lead to a Gingrich-Perry ticket being announced prior to the Republican National Convention at the end of August. If there’s anybody that Rick Perry could beat in a debate, it would certainly be Joe Biden. Personally, I think whoever the GOP nominee is needs to have a strong running mate from a battle ground state. Texas is a lock for Republicans this year, so I don’t understand what Perry would bring to that ticket, other than maybe more conservative enthusiasm. If Gingrich is the GOP nominee, I don’t think there will be an enthusiasm gap for conservatives anyway.
Happy trails! Rick Perry drops out of GOP race, endorses Newt Gingrich (Video)
I was looking forward to seeing Rick Perry debate again tonight. He was so good in the last couple. I hoped he was going to be able to make a comeback. Well I guess not. Today Rick Perry dropped out of the GOP race and endorsed Newt Gingrich, as the smear machine by ABC is set to air his ex-wife’s dirty laundry.

Activist Virginia judge who wouldn’t allow Rick Perry and Newt Gingrich on state’s ballot is Obama appointed
U.S. District Court Judge John Gibney ruled that Rick Perry and Newt Gingrich will NOT appear on the Super Tuesday Virginia ballot just so happens to be an Obama appointed judge. What an amazing coincidence. Jon Huntsman and Rick Santorun were also a part of Perry’s lawsuit, but Jon Huntsman has since bought his ticket to ride to Panda Express and Rick Santorum didn’t even bother trying to get signatures to appear on the state’s ballot. From Judgepedia:
Judge John Gibney wouldn’t add Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry, Rick Santorum and Jon Huntsman to Super Tuesday ballot
Looks like the Super Tuesday election in Virginia will only be between Mitt Romney and Ron Paul. According to The Hill, U.S. District Court Judge John Gibney, who presided over Rick Perry’s lawsuit that challenged Virginia’s requirements for making it onto the presidential ballot has ruled that the candidates who failed to qualify for the ballot, will NOT appear on it. This not only includes Rick Perry, but also Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and used car salesman Jon Huntsman. This sets up a showdown between Mitt Romney and Ron Paul in that state.

Rick Perry says Mittens practices “vulture capitalism”
I like Rick Perry. I actually have no problems with candidates that don’t have the last name Romney, Huntsman, or Gingrich. On Hannity last night after Mitt Romney won the New Hampshire primary to no one’s surprised, Perry doubled down on his attacks on Romney and Bain Capital. Perry said Romney practiced “vulture capitalism” while at Bain. While I don’t particularly like the attacks on Romney’s capitalism by Gingrich and Perry, all of Romney’s skeletons in the closet need to be exposed now. If anyone thinks these same attacks aren’t going to be done against Romney (if he’s the GOP nominee) against the Marxist Obama/Democrat regime, they are kidding themselves. Better to get it out in the open now, rather than wait for the “October surprise.” Still, Rick Perry’s choice of words “Vulture Capitalism” sounds almost like George H.W. Bush’s “Voodoo Economics” phrase from 1980. Of course, we have no Ronald Reagan running this year.

Rick Perry to reassess campaign after finishing fifth in Iowa caucus
Happy trials Rick Perry! I think you’re a good guy, but the debate lapses killed your chances. CBS reports that Texas Governor Rick Perry said he is going back to Texas to reassess “whether there is a path forward for myself in this race.”
“With the voters’ decision tonight in Iowa, I’ve decided to return to Texas, assess the results of tonight’s caucus, determine whether there is a path forward for myself in this race,”
Rick Perry owns Politico hack Mike Allen – You got a name?
Second look at Rick Perry? I’m starting to like this guy again. Rick Perry absolutely destroyed left wing Politico hack Mike Allen asked Perry about “people in his campaign pointing fingers at each other.” Perry demanded that Mike Allen name names, and the Politico hack couldn’t do it. Typical of the lame stream drive by media. Well done, Mr. Perry.
Final PPP Iowa GOP Poll: Ron Paul 20%, Mitt Romney 19%, Rick Santorum 18%
The final left wing biased PPP Iowa GOP caucus poll is out and it pretty much confirms all others. First and second are a tossup between crazy uncle Ron Paul and Mittens Romney. Rick Santorum has surged to third place, and could even pull off a Mike Huckabee like upset on Tuesday. Santorum is up a whopping eight points since the PPP poll released last week. Santorum’s net favorability of 60/30 easily makes him the most popular candidate in the field. On the other hand, crazy uncle Ron Paul has dropped 21 points in net favorability in just one week! Last week he was 53% favorable 40 unfavorable. In this poll, Paul is only 43% favorable and 51% unfavorable! I guess all those revelations of racism and antisemitism has kind of hurt him huh?
Flip-flopping Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli now not so anxious to deal with ballot issue
Hey, another Republican flip flopper. Why am I not surprised. Yesterday, Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli announced that he would try to intervene on Virigina’s ballot requires in order to try and help get Rick Perry and Planet Newt Gingrich on the primary ballot. Now, less than 24 hours later, Cuccinelli has flip flopped and isn’t quite as anxious to deal with the problem. I guess we can call Ken Cuccinelli the Mitt Romney or Newt Gingrich of Virginia. Hot Air posted the flip flopping Cuccinelli statement that was e-mailed to them. Looks like Gingrich, Santorum and Perry’s only hope of getting on the March 6th ballot will be from the lawsuit. Bachmann and Huntsman will be long gone before March.
Left wing loon tosses glitter on Rick Santorum in Iowa
In what might be the absolute most pathetic “glitter bomb” yet by some left wing loony toon, Rick Santorum was on the receiving end of this nut in Iowa. It happened Friday night in Johnston, Iowa. An left wing nut bag shouted the usual zombie like phrase they “glitter bombers” shout: “Stop the hate! Taste the rainbow!”
