Happy trails! Rick Perry drops out of GOP race, endorses Newt Gingrich (Video)

rick-perry-dumbI was looking forward to seeing Rick Perry debate again tonight. He was so good in the last couple. I hoped he was going to be able to make a comeback. Well I guess not. Today Rick Perry dropped out of the GOP race and endorsed Newt Gingrich, as the smear machine by ABC is set to air his ex-wife’s dirty laundry.

Activist Virginia judge who wouldn’t allow Rick Perry and Newt Gingrich on state’s ballot is Obama appointed

rick-perry-dumbU.S. District Court Judge John Gibney ruled that Rick Perry and Newt Gingrich will NOT appear on the Super Tuesday Virginia ballot just so happens to be an Obama appointed judge. What an amazing coincidence. Jon Huntsman and Rick Santorun were also a part of Perry’s lawsuit, but Jon Huntsman has since bought his ticket to ride to Panda Express and Rick Santorum didn’t even bother trying to get signatures to appear on the state’s ballot. From Judgepedia:

Judge John Gibney wouldn’t add Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry, Rick Santorum and Jon Huntsman to Super Tuesday ballot

rick-perry-dumbLooks like the Super Tuesday election in Virginia will only be between Mitt Romney and Ron Paul. According to The Hill, U.S. District Court Judge John Gibney, who presided over Rick Perry’s lawsuit that challenged Virginia’s requirements for making it onto the presidential ballot has ruled that the candidates who failed to qualify for the ballot, will NOT appear on it. This not only includes Rick Perry, but also Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and used car salesman Jon Huntsman. This sets up a showdown between Mitt Romney and Ron Paul in that state.

Rick Perry says Mittens practices “vulture capitalism”

rick-perry-dumbI like Rick Perry. I actually have no problems with candidates that don’t have the last name Romney, Huntsman, or Gingrich. On Hannity last night after Mitt Romney won the New Hampshire primary to no one’s surprised, Perry doubled down on his attacks on Romney and Bain Capital. Perry said Romney practiced “vulture capitalism” while at Bain. While I don’t particularly like the attacks on Romney’s capitalism by Gingrich and Perry, all of Romney’s skeletons in the closet need to be exposed now. If anyone thinks these same attacks aren’t going to be done against Romney (if he’s the GOP nominee) against the Marxist Obama/Democrat regime, they are kidding themselves. Better to get it out in the open now, rather than wait for the “October surprise.” Still, Rick Perry’s choice of words “Vulture Capitalism” sounds almost like George H.W. Bush’s “Voodoo Economics” phrase from 1980. Of course, we have no Ronald Reagan running this year.

Rick Perry to reassess campaign after finishing fifth in Iowa caucus

rick-perryHappy trials Rick Perry! I think you’re a good guy, but the debate lapses killed your chances. CBS reports that Texas Governor Rick Perry said he is going back to Texas to reassess “whether there is a path forward for myself in this race.”

“With the voters’ decision tonight in Iowa, I’ve decided to return to Texas, assess the results of tonight’s caucus, determine whether there is a path forward for myself in this race,”

Rick Perry owns Politico hack Mike Allen – You got a name?

rick-perry-dumbSecond look at Rick Perry? I’m starting to like this guy again. Rick Perry absolutely destroyed left wing Politico hack Mike Allen asked Perry about “people in his campaign pointing fingers at each other.” Perry demanded that Mike Allen name names, and the Politico hack couldn’t do it. Typical of the lame stream drive by media. Well done, Mr. Perry.

Final PPP Iowa GOP Poll: Ron Paul 20%, Mitt Romney 19%, Rick Santorum 18%

rick-santorumThe final left wing biased PPP Iowa GOP caucus poll is out and it pretty much confirms all others. First and second are a tossup between crazy uncle Ron Paul and Mittens Romney. Rick Santorum has surged to third place, and could even pull off a Mike Huckabee like upset on Tuesday. Santorum is up a whopping eight points since the PPP poll released last week. Santorum’s net favorability of 60/30 easily makes him the most popular candidate in the field. On the other hand, crazy uncle Ron Paul has dropped 21 points in net favorability in just one week! Last week he was 53% favorable 40 unfavorable. In this poll, Paul is only 43% favorable and 51% unfavorable! I guess all those revelations of racism and antisemitism has kind of hurt him huh?

Flip-flopping Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli now not so anxious to deal with ballot issue

newt-gingrichHey, another Republican flip flopper. Why am I not surprised. Yesterday, Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli announced that he would try to intervene on Virigina’s ballot requires in order to try and help get Rick Perry and Planet Newt Gingrich on the primary ballot. Now, less than 24 hours later, Cuccinelli has flip flopped and isn’t quite as anxious to deal with the problem. I guess we can call Ken Cuccinelli the Mitt Romney or Newt Gingrich of Virginia. Hot Air posted the flip flopping Cuccinelli  statement that was e-mailed to them. Looks like Gingrich, Santorum and Perry’s only hope of getting on the March 6th ballot will be from the lawsuit. Bachmann and Huntsman will be long gone before March.

Left wing loon tosses glitter on Rick Santorum in Iowa

rick-santorumIn what might be the absolute most pathetic “glitter bomb” yet by some left wing loony toon, Rick Santorum was on the receiving end of this nut in Iowa. It happened Friday night in Johnston, Iowa. An left wing nut bag shouted the usual zombie like phrase they “glitter bombers” shout: “Stop the hate! Taste the rainbow!”

My New Year’s resolution for 2012 – To support whatever GOP candidate runs against Obama – Even if it’s Mittens or Planet Gingrich

obama-frownHey, I could maybe even support Ron Paul if he got the GOP nomination. Thankfully, I don’t have to worry about that happening. Regardless of who the GOP nominee is, Mittens Romney, Planet Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, or Rick Perry, I will support them to make sure the Marxist Obama gets his ass kicked out of Washington and is send back to Chicago where he belongs. 2012 the Aloha Obama year!

Happy New Year!

Final Des Moines Register poll before Iowa caucuses – Mittens Romney leads, Rick Santorum surges to third place

rick-santorumThe final Des Moines Register poll before the January 3rd Iowa caucuses is out, and it confirms Rick Santorum’s surge to third place. Romney leads crazy uncle Ron Paul 24 percent to 22 percent. Rick Santorum has gone from about 1 percent in the last poll to 15 percent. Planet Gingrich is barely ahead of Rick Perry 12 percent to 11 percent. The Des Moines Register is Iowa’s largest newspaper.

Desperate Planet Newt Gingrich claims he would “consider” Sarah Palin an “ideal candidate” for secretary of Energy

newt-gingrichPlanet Newt Gingrich doesn’t have to worry. His campaign implosion that everyone figured would come eventually has occured, and he’s now in fifth place in Iowa polling behind Romney, Paul. Rick Santorum and Rick Perry. But the arrogant, faux conservative still is under the impression he will win the GOP nomination. He’s so desperate, he’s already throwing out names for his cabinet. Including Sarah Palin whom Gingrich claims would be an “ideal” secretary of Energy. According to The Hill, Gingrich made his Sarah Palin fans pandering statement on a conference call with conservative voters hosted by Ralph Reed’s Faith and Freedom Coalition.

NBC-Marist Iowa poll: Rick Santorum soars to third place behind Romney and Paul – Rick Perry now ahead of Gingrich

rick-santorumFirst it was the CNN Iowa GOP earlier this week that showed Rick Santorum jumping to third place in the state for the GOP caucuses. That was the first poll to show Santorum in double figures, let alone in third place and some wondered if it was anonymity.  Then the Rasmussen poll came out and showed Santorum in third in Iowa, so it showed that the CNN poll was legit. Today, a third poll from NBC-Marist College comes out, basically showing a carbon copy of the Rasmussen poll numbers. Romney barely ahead of Ron Paul, with Rick Santorum in third and Planet Newt Gingrich dropping like a rock.

Rasmussen Iowa GOP Poll: Romney leads Paul by one, Santorum jumps to third place

rick-santorumLess than a week away from the Iowa GOP caucus, and the big news is the upward movement of Rick Santorum. Will Romney and Paul continue to battle for first, and Planet Gingrich continues to implode and sink, Rick Santorum has quietly made a dramatic rises in the polls. The Rasmussen poll that was released today is the second poll in a row that shows Santorum in third place. Yesterday a CNN poll came out and was the first to show Santorum in third.

Slip slidin’ away! Planet Gingrich now behind Rick Santorum in latest CNN Iowa GOP poll

rick-santorumYesterday PPP came out with a poll from Iowa showing Ron Paul leading Romney by 4 points in Iowa. The poll also showed Rick Santorum moving into double digits for the first time. Today CNN came out with their own Iowa GOP poll and it shows Romney leading  Paul by three points at 25% to 22%. Planet Gingrich has plunged from 33% in the previous poll to just 14% in this poll. Rick Santorum is up 11 points and now ahead of Planet Gingrich at 16%.

Ron Paul leads Romney by four points in Iowa according to latest PPP (D) poll

ron-paul-nutjobI don’t particularly like PPP’s polling outfit, they are used by left wing kooks like Daily Kos, so I don’t know how reliable they are. But this is the most recent poll from Iowa since all the anti-Semitic/racist newsletter stuff came out on Ron Paul so it’s relevant. According to this poll, Ron Paul still leads in Iowa with 24% of the GOP. Mitt Romney comes in four points behind at 20%. Lunar Gingrich has plummeted all the way to 13%. Michelle Bachmann, Rick Perry and Rick Santorum are in double figures but far off Paul’s lead.

Rick Perry releases great campaign ad: “Part-Time Congress”

rick-perry-dumbI’ll give Rick Perry credit for one thing. His campaign ads are great. His latest TV ad, running in Iowa entitled “Part-Time Congress” is no exception. From Perry’s site:

Rick Perry sues Virginia elections board to get on the primary ballot that he failed to qualify for

rick-perry-dumbRick Perry is fighting his disqualification from the Virginia primary ballot (not word is lunar Newt is yet.) Rick Perry’s complaint was filed and posted online at Rick Perry’s own site for those who want to read it. But there’s one thing you might find a bit odd that Hotair caught in the complaint. In paragraph 18 of the complaint Perry says Perry he submitted “over 6,000 petition signatures from qualified Virginia voters.” Problem is, 11,900 total signatures are required to qualify for Virginia’s ballot.

Lunar colony Newt Gingrich wouldn’t vote for Ron Paul if he won the GOP nomination

newt-gingrich-rinoWhen Newt Gingrich was in his “nice mode” he said during debates that “anyone on this stage would be a far better president than Obama.” I guess now that the real Newt is showing himself, he’s flip-flopped again. While I am hardly a fan of Ron Paul, I would still hold my nose and vote for him IF he was the GOP nominee to run against the Marxist Obama. Gingrich appeared on CNN with liberal hack Wolf Blizter and claimed thT not only would he not vote for Ron Paul if he was the GOP nominee, but that Paul’s views are totally outside the mainstream of virtually every decent American. Aside from Ron Paul’s foreign policy, his anti-semitism, and “reported” racism in newsletters, Ron Paul’s views (fiscally)  are far more mainstream than Gingrich’s.
