How low will Paulbots go? Pretty low. Allegedly, one of them campaigned for Ron Paul is Iowa, while in his military uniform. According to Big Government, the person who allegedly campaigned for Paul while in uniform is Corporal Jesse Thorsen. Members of the U.S. armed forces are prohibited by Department of Defense Directive from campaigning or participating in public political activities while in uniform. CNN claims that Corporal Thorsen is on “active duty,” but defense sources at the Pentagon and a U.S. Army Reserve Major say that he Thorsen is NOT on active duty.

Ron Paul leads Romney by four points in Iowa according to latest PPP (D) poll
I don’t particularly like PPP’s polling outfit, they are used by left wing kooks like Daily Kos, so I don’t know how reliable they are. But this is the most recent poll from Iowa since all the anti-Semitic/racist newsletter stuff came out on Ron Paul so it’s relevant. According to this poll, Ron Paul still leads in Iowa with 24% of the GOP. Mitt Romney comes in four points behind at 20%. Lunar Gingrich has plummeted all the way to 13%. Michelle Bachmann, Rick Perry and Rick Santorum are in double figures but far off Paul’s lead.

When Newt Gingrich was in his “nice mode” he said during debates that “anyone on this stage would be a far better president than Obama.” I guess now that the real Newt is showing himself, he’s flip-flopped again. While I am hardly a fan of Ron Paul, I would still hold my nose and vote for him IF he was the GOP nominee to run against the Marxist Obama. Gingrich appeared on CNN with liberal hack Wolf Blizter and claimed thT not only would he not vote for Ron Paul if he was the GOP nominee, but that Paul’s views are totally outside the mainstream of virtually every decent American. Aside from Ron Paul’s foreign policy, his anti-semitism, and “reported” racism in newsletters, Ron Paul’s views (fiscally) are far more mainstream than Gingrich’s.

Real Clear Politics poll averages for Iowa – Ron Paul leads Romney
The poll averages used by Real Clear Politics (at the time of this posting) are as of December 19th. This is before all the anti-semitic, racist newsletters stories came out. As of the polling averages, Ron Paul is ahead of Mittens by 1.3% at 22.3% to 21% for Iowa’s January 3rd caucuses. Something tells me these numbers are going to change when the new polls come out. Gingrich and his lunar colony supporters are only at 14.7% while Rick Perry has climbed a bit to 12%.

2008 Iowa caucus winner Mike Huckabee predicts Mitt Romney will win Iowa “if the weather is good”
Is this how RINOs predict caucus or primary winners now? By the weather forecast? Apparently this is how 2008 GOP Iowa caucus winners bases his predictions. According to Daily Caller, Huckabee predicts Romney will win the Iowa caucus on January 3rd “if the weather is good.” Otherwise, if the weather is lousy, Huckabee thinks Ron Paul will win the caucus. Maybe it’s a global warming thing or something.
