Obama’s pep talk to the House yesterday: Does anybody think that the teabag, anti-government people are going to support them if they bring down health care?
Yes, this is now whats coming from the lips of a sitting president of the United States of America. According to Representative Earl Blumenauer of Oregon (from the New York Times), who supports the health care bill, the president asked, Anyone who is against his plans, anyone who is against big government, anyone who is against government takeover of healthcare is nothing more than:
“Does anybody think that the teabag, anti-government people are going to support them if they bring down health care? All it will do is confuse and dispirit” Democratic voters “and it will encourage the extremists.”

ACORN tries selling Gadsen flags at 9/12 DC march, starts fight, gets chased away
This new video is a small group of ACORN losers getting chased away from the 9/12 DC rally at the Capitol. Despite ACORN recent revelations of instructing people on how to evade taxes from the IRS and set up child prosistution rings with 13 ear olds from El Salavador, ACORN in DC had enough time to send a couple losers out to try and peddle of all things Gadsen flags/Don’t tread on me flags! Obviously, any proceeeds would go to ACORN, along with $8.5billion in our tax payer money via the stimulus bill this year. Tim Jones, overheard the police telling the ACORN folk to leave the rally. After circling a bit, the activists tried to continue their flag marketing, but Mr. Jones would not have it. He followed them announcing to the crowd that they were ACORN provocateurs. Consequently, one of the ACORN losers shoved and hit Tim Jones in the face. Even his wife was rustled up a bit. But his efforts paid off as the Capitol Police eventually intervened and showed ACORN the way out. Check out the video:

912 March on DC teaparty highlights
Early reports from ABC and Fox are that the total turnout was around 2 million people, despite the lousy weather, and despite the blackout from the media about this. (ooops, I said blackout, is this racist?) I’ll keep posting videos/signs and general highlights of the teaparty in this post for those interested.
912 Tea Partyers Drown Out CNN Reporter During Live Report chanting GLENN BECK GLENN BECK and TELL THE TRUTH TELL THE TRUTH!
Awesome! Fredricka Whitfield of CNN tries to make the entire coverage on the teaparty 9/12 march all about Joe Wilson. CNN reporter Lisa Desjardins did a live report from Capitol Hill during the 9/12 teaparty / march today and played along with Whitfield. As s Desjardins tries to do her interview, people were chanting GLENN BECK GLENN BECK and TELL THE TRUTH, TELL THE TRUTH, and maybe the best of them all “CNN GO HOME! CNN GO HOME!”. Heres the video:

Bomb threat by left-wing loons against Tea Party organizers for the 9/12 project and Freedomworks
I’m shocked! Shocked I tell you, that the peace loving, anti-war, “dissent is patriotic” left wing loons in this country, would issue threats against those involved in the 9/12 project march on DC today, which so far has an estimated attendance at around 2 million. (That remark about being shocked was sarcasm BTW). I’m actually more shocked that Another Barack Channel (ABC) had the gallstones to report on it. Of course, it wasn’t Jake Tapper, so that part at least isn’t a surprise:
Nearly 2 million expected for March on DC 9/12
Democrats are trembling in fear about the March on DC tommorow 9/12. According to the Plum Line, a top House Dem leadership aide has emailed a memo to Democrat aides on the Hill and outside liberal groups warning they should brace for a turnout of up to two million people.
Aug. 28th March on Sacramento: Photo Journal Shows We Are Not “All Wee Wee’d Up”
As the “Tea Party Express” rolls from Sacramento to Washington DC (on September 12th), Temple of Mut has photos and info on the begining of the Tea Party Express in Sacramento. They make note of the extremely diverse crowd that was present. They had a large number of Hispanic Americans, and quite a few from other ethnic backgrounds, too. One of the most impassioned speeches given was Piedad Ayala, who did it partly in Spanish. You will note the respect he was given by this audience. There were also some hilarious signs. One of the more interesting things to note is that ACORN and SEIU were targets of mocking and derision. Everybody recognizes which side of the argument is being “staged” and they were mocking the mockers — rendering the extremist Alinksy tactics useless.

Hey Arnold, we are not your ATM!
Tax Revolt 09 in California today. With the “special election” set for Tuesday for even more tax measures on Californians like myself, KFI’s John and Ken (in Los Angeles) held another revolt rally today. Plenty of pictures, and info are provided at their KFI site. There is good news in regards to Schwarzenegger/Shriver’s scare tactics saying that said if the propositions do not pass it could mean releasing thousands of prisoners, borrowing billions of dollars from already-strapped local governments and even drilling off the Santa Barbara coast. The two major tax issues on the ballot for Tuesday are:
Proposition 1A, which would set aside money for a rainy day fund and extend recent tax increases, is failing by 13 points.
Proposition 1B, which would require payments to schools, is losing by nine points.

Today’s voting day. The taxping propostions are very likely to fail! Don’t buy into Arnolds and the rest of the California democratic scum’s fear tactics! Today on a radio talk show some liberal host was describing how California politicians are basically telling voters if they don’t pass today’s propositions that Police will be cut, Fire Stations will be shut down, Education will be cut and Prisoners will be released…. I believe he explained it by saying.. Child molesters will be in class with your kids, with no police force, no teachers and the building will be on fire. ARNOLD, you aren’t in the movies now. You’re scare tactics are useless (much like the democrats controlling this state).
Give Hussein Obama a ’sizzling’ welcome for his town hall meeting in New Mexico
Hussein Obama has a Town Hall meeting scheduled at Rio Rancho High School at 10:00 am on Thursday. The Albuquerque Tea Party will be there waiting for him! There is plenty off sidewalk space for demonstrating, so bring your homemade signs, patriotism, red or white shirt, and plenty of water. We want to line both sides of the street.
July 4th tea parties – already set for 350 cities in 47 states!
WorldNetDaily has info that planning for round 2 of the nation’s tea parties is under way for July 4th. Already, there are 366 cities planning tea parties in 47 different states. More from WND:
While WND has been tracking 34 upcoming tea parties across the nation, the American Family Association has posted a list of rallies in 366 cities and 47 states for July 4.
AFA is sponsoring Taxed Enough Already, or TEA, parties to be held at 12 p.m. in front of city halls across the nation.
The organization launched a Tea Party Day website before the Tax Day events so volunteer organizers may register their protests with AFA.
Obama – from being “unaware” of April 15th tea parties, to talking them down on his 100th day in office! July 4th, 2009 tea parties are on!
At his 100th-day town hall meeting in St. Louis, Hussein Obama decided to take direct aim at those anti-tax “tea party” from April 15th, that he originally said “he was unaware of”. From Politico:
Asked about fiscal discipline and entitlements reform, Obama seemed to be repressing a smile as he jabbed critics of his spending plans.
“Those of you who are watching certain news channels on which I’m not very popular, and you see folks waving tea bags around, Obama said, “let me just remind them that I am happy to have a serious conversation about how we are going to cut our health care costs down over the long term, how we are going to stabilize Social Security.”
“But,” Obama continued, “let’s not play games and pretend that the reason [for the deficit] is because of the Recovery Act.”
It’s the president’s most direct response so far to the protests that flared up in some locations around tax day, on April 15.
Oh BTW, he National Leadership Team of the Nationwide Tea Party Coalition (http://www.nationwideteapartycoalition.com) today has accepted President Obama`s invitation “to have a serious conversation about
how we are going to cut our health care costs down over the long term, how we are going to stabilize Social Security.” Amazing for someone who didn’t ever hear about them two weeks ago huh?
The Case for a Federalism Amendment
In response to an unprecedented expansion of the federal government and its power in just the first 90 days of the Hussein Obama administration, citizens have held hundreds of “tea party” rallies around the country (most of which either ignored by the media, or mocked). Also several states are considering “sovereignty resolutions” invoking the Constitution’s Ninth and Tenth Amendments. For example, according to the Wall Street Journal: Michigan’s proposal urges “the federal government to halt its practice of imposing mandates upon the states for purposes not enumerated by the Constitution of the United States.” More from the WSJ:
While well-intentioned, such symbolic resolutions are not likely to have the slightest impact on the federal courts, which long ago adopted a virtually unlimited construction of Congressional power. But state legislatures have a real power under the Constitution by which to resist the growth of federal power: They can petition Congress for a convention to propose amendments to the Constitution.
Article V provides that, “on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states,” Congress “shall call a convention for proposing amendments.” Before becoming law, any amendments produced by such a convention would then need to be ratified by three-quarters of the states.
An amendments convention is feared because its scope cannot be limited in advance. The convention convened by Congress to propose amendments to the Articles of Confederation produced instead the entirely different Constitution under which we now live. Yet it is precisely the fear of a runaway convention that states can exploit to bring Congress to heel.
