Chris Matthews

Up until this year, Chris Matthews was barely even know to most people. The only ones who knew of this media hack were the MSNBC moonbats who’s crush on Obama is nearly as big as Chris Matthews. But in February of 2008, Chris Matthews let it be well know of his love for Obama:

The feeling most people get when they hear a Barack Obama speech, I mean, I get, I felt this thrill go up my leg. I mean, I don’t have that too often.

And as if the “leg” thing wasn’t bad enough. On November 6th, 2008, after Hussein Obama had already won the election, largely in part to the media being on his jock during the entire election cycle, MSNBC anchor talk show host Chris Matthews said it was his “job” to make sure the Obama presidency is successful. Huh? Appearing on the “Morning Joe” program with host Joe Scarborough, Matthews made this odd comment with the replies from Scarborough:

“I want to do everything I can to make this thing work, this new presidency work,” Matthews, a former aide to pro-abortion House Speaker Tip O’Neil, said.

“Is that your job? You just talked about being a journalist!” Scarborough responded.

“Yeah, it is my job,” Matthews replied.

“Your job is to make this presidency work?” Scarborough responded again, apparently surprised by what he was hearing.

“To make this work successfully. This country needs a successful presidency,” Matthews confirmed.

Mark Finkelstein, a writer for the Media Research Center blog Newsbusters, noticed Matthews’ comments.

“Just in time for the new James Bond movie, Chris Matthews has earned himself a new moniker: Odd Job,” Finkelstein writes. “Matthews says he sees his job as a journalist as doing everything he can to make the Obama presidency a success.”

“An incredulous Scarborough kept pressing, astonished at such a complete 180 from Matthews’s repeated insistence during the Bush presidency that he had to hold the government accountable,” Finkelstein wrote.

“Once Obama assumes office, the ‘speaking truth to power’ line we’ve heard so often during the past eight years will be a thing of the past,

Hows that for a ringing endoresment of good ole Hussein?
