In a state that is a lock for Obama in November of 2012, Mitt Romney crushed Rick Santorum, taking 42 of 54 available delegates. Early left wing media reports suggested that Illinois would have a record low turnout for this primary. But the media hacks lied again as this year’s primary had more votes than 2008. For instance, CBS in Chicago lies and claims it was lowest turnout for a Republican primary in 70 years. I guess it’s just that progressive liberal math hard at work again. In 2008 there were a total of 899,422 votes cast in the Republican primary. This year there were 921,781 votes. Last I checked 921,781 was larger than 899,422.
