Rand Paul’s weak statement on his father’s disgusting comments about Chris Kyle
Rand Paul’s political future may hinge on how people judge him based on his father’s political career. After today’s disgusting tweet by Ron Paul claiming that murdered sniper Chris Kyle that ’he who lives by the sword dies by the sword,’ Breitbart sought a comment from his son Rand Paul. Here is what his response was:
“Chris Kyle was a hero like all Americans who don the uniform to defend our country. Our prayers are with his family during this tragic time.”
Wow – Ron Paul on Chris Kyle’s death – ‘he who lives by the sword dies by the sword.’
This really surprises me from Ron Paul. He follows the constitution, unlike 99.9% of current US politicians. But his statement about Chris Kyle’s death of ‘he who lives by the sword dies by the sword’ is as disgusting as it is surprising. Ron Paul isn’t some hippie liberal who’s never served his country in the military, Paul served as a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1965 and then in the United States Air National Guard from 1965 to 1968.

Ron Paul – We’re broke and already over the so called fiscal cliff (Video)
When it comes to foreign issues, i rarely if ever agree with anything Ron Paul says. On fiscal matters however, I almost always agree with Ron Paul. His latest statement that says the country is broke and already over the so called fiscal cliff is dead on accurate as far as I’m concerned.

Ron Paul offered spot to speak at RNC convention – denies it because he wouldn’t fully endorse Mitt Romney
I said that Ron Paul should be offered a speaking spot at the RNC convention, and at least he was offered one. But Ron Paul turned down the chance to speak because he wouln’t ‘fully’ endorse Mitt Romney for president. Not a surprise really, he didn’t endorse McCain in 2008 either. It’s not likely that any of his rabid supporter would be willing to support ‘neo-con’ Romney anyway.
Jewish Democrats all mad because of Ron Paul tribute at GOP convention on Tuesday
This is ironic as it gets. You have Jewish Democrats supporting the most anti-Israel president in the history of this country, and now they whine about a Ron Paul tribute at the GOP convention? At first when I heard about this Ron Paul tribute, I kind of scratched my heads. Paul supporters hate Mitt Romney with a passion, and despite the consequences of possibly electing the Marxist Obama for another disastrous term, they wouldn’t vote for Romney anyway. Yet now that these hypocritical Jewish Democrats are whining about the tribute, I’m not convinced that it was the right thing to do.
Ron Paul’s audit the Fed bill easily passes the House with 327 votes
Ron Paul’s audit the Fed bill is expected to die in the Senate because of cowardly Democrats (and probably some Republicans) who wouldn’t dare want to expose the corruption going on in the Federal Reserve. But in the House, Paul’s bill passed easily with 327 votes, getting nearly half of all Democrats voting in favor. One cowardly Republican voted against the audit the Fed bill. The corrupt Democrats who are against Ron Paul’s ‘audit the Fed’ bill claim it will politicize monetary policy. The one cowardly Republican who voted against this bill was none other than Anthony Weiner’s replacement, Bob Turner. Don’t matter, with the gerrymandering done by Cuomo, his time in the House is done, and there is no way he will win his Senate bid.

Ron Paul supporter Thomas Massie wins Kentucky CD04 Republican primary
A Ron Paul supporter named Thomas Massie got almost as big of a percentage of the vote in a the Kentucky District 4 Republican primary as Obama did in his Democrat primary. The difference? Obama had to battle “Uncommitted” as his only challenger while Thomas Massie had to beat six other Republican challengers for his primary win.
Ron Paul will NOT endorse Libertarian Party nominee Gary Johnson for president
Ron Paul who said yesterday he will no longer spend money on his campaign. Paul has not suspended his campaign, and is still technically running, but he realizes that he wouldn’t get enough delegates to become the nominee regardless if he stayed in the race or not. Ron Paul isn’t stupid. He knows that he can bring a lot of enthusiasm to the GOP ticket this fall, if they adopt some of his domestic policies. Ron Paul also wants to give a big speech in Tampa at the convention this summer. That’s why he left the door open to endorsing Mitt Romney, and ruled out endorsing Libertarian Party nominee Gary Johnson for president.
Ron Paul stops campaigning – but doesn’t officially suspend
Ron Paul has said to the Washington Times that he will not compete in primaries of any of the states that haven’t voted yet. There’s no official announcement from Paul himself (at the time of this) at his site, so I don’t know what to think of this. Ron Paul certainly isn’t lacking from campaign money as he raises tons of money. So this comes as a bit of a surprise to me. Lets hope Romney is smart enough to sit down with Dr. Paul and listen to some of his ideas for policy (domestically.) Ron Paul hasn’t dropped out of the race though, technically he’s still in the race unlike Santorum and Gingrich who suspended their campaigns.
Ron Paul gets at least half of delegates from Minnesota caucuses
Remember the Minnesota caucuses back on February 7th? That was the disastrous night for Mitt Romney where Rick Santorum won three states. Minnesota, Colorado and the Missouri “beauty contest” primary. Ron Paul came in second in Minnesota behind Rick Santorum and Romney ended up third. Santorum won with 45% of the vote while Paul had about 27%. Now that Rick Santorum is gone, the delegates from that caucus didn’t go to Mitt Romney. Half of Minnesota’s 40 delegates went to Ron Paul.
Super Tuesday speeches from Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul
With Alaska the last state to close their caucus and vote totals coming in late, they still don’t have a declared winner of their caucus yet at the time of this posting. Mitt Romney may win the Alaska caucuses as he is ahead by a few hundred votes. The other nine states on Super Tuesday went pretty much as expected (except maybe Ohio). Romney won five states, Massachusetts, Vermont, Virginia, Idaho and Ohio. Rick Santorum won three states: Oklahoma, Tennesee, and North Dakota. Newt Gingrich won one state, Georgia. Unless Ron Paul wins the Alaska caucuses, he will be the only candidate to not win a state on Super Tuesday. Below is the speeches from all the candidates.

CNN Arizona Republican Debate – winner (in my opinion) was Ron Paul
This really pains me to say it. But Ron Paul won the CNN Arizona Republican debate in my opinion. He gave great answers and fiscal issues, and didn’t come across as a loon on foreign policy. Even though I disagree with his stance on Iran getting nukes, what he said made sense too. I’ll also give Mitt Romney credit. He did well too. And Newt Gingrich was much better than he was in the Florida, but didn’t have the “homerun” moment he needed to get back up in the polls. The clear loser of this debate (in my opinion) was Rick Santorum. Santorum is my favorite at the moment of the four candidates, but he came off as whiny, and didn’t have good answers when challenged by Paul and Mittens. You can think what you want, but that’s just my opinion. I’ll post some videos later. One of the funniest moments was when Ron Paul called Rick Santorum a phony.

Ron Paul tied with Obama at 43% in Virginia
Only Mitt Romney and Ron Paul will be on the Super Tuesday GOP primary ballot in Virginia. Mittens is expected to easily beat Ron Paul on that day according to a couple polls released days ago. However, in a head to head match up with the Marxist Obama, Ron Paul ties him at 43% in the Christopher Newport University conducted the poll/ The sample size if of 1018 registered Virginia voters over February 4-13, 2012 period with a margin of error for the whole sample is +/- 3.1 percent.
