100 years of income tax
Want to see how the ‘progressive’ income tax has evolved of the last 100 years? Back in 1913 the United States tax code was a whopping 400 pages lone. Today? It’s nearly 74,000 pages. Back in 1913 the top income tax bracket (which was just 7%) was set at $11,600,000 (in today’s dollars.) Today, the top income tax bracket is $450,000 for a couple, and the tax rate is 39.6%.
After raising taxes on 77 percent of Americans with fiscal-cliff deal, Democrats seek another $1 trillion tax hikes
Lets see, Obama and Democrats got higher taxes on 77% of Americans with this past fiscal-cliff deal with no meaningful cuts of any kind, and now Obama voters are pissed because the taxes weren’t only on the so called rich, but it affected them too. Now the Democrats want more of your money. In fact, the Democrats want another $1 trillion in tax hikes after getting what they wanted in the fiscal-cliff deal.
LOL! Leftists on Twitter bitch and moan about tax hikes in their first paycheck of the year
The Obama tax hikes raised taxes on 77% of American households, not just those evil rich people who ‘need to pay their fair share.’ Now that leftists (who actually work) are seeing the results of the ‘evil rich’ tax hike, they are bitching and moaning on Twitter about getting less in their pay check. I’m so LOLing over this. Ironically, a lot of these tweets are coming from blacks. You know the group that voted 95% or so for Obama based on skin color?
Everyone seen a deduction on the new years first paycheck today!I thought Obama was in this to help the mid and lower class??

The average American has to work 107 days to pay for the bloated government
While Obama frolics in Hawaii on a tax payer funded $20 million vacation, you, the average American should know that you have to work 107 days or 30% of the year, just to pay for the bloated government, created by Obama, Marxist Democrats, and worthless RINO Republicans.
62% of companies expect layoffs or reduced hiring thanks to ObamaCare medical device tax that began with the new year
More ‘great’ news from ObamaVille. Thanks to the ObamaCare medical device tax that began with 2013, 62% of companies expect to lay off workers, or at least reduce the level of hiring directly due to this medical device tax. This is according to a survey by Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed).

Paul Ryan on Twitter in December says how bad Obama’s tax hikes are (that he voted for)
You know, when Mitt Romney picked Paul Ryan to be his running mate in August, I thought he was a great pick. My first choice of course at the time was Marco Rubio, but Paul Ryan was a sold choice in my opinion. What followed was a lackluster campaign by Ryan, and miserable debate performance against the dunce Joe Biden, and the failure to win his home state of Wisconsin in the general election that Scott Brown won in 2010, and then with a bigger margin in the recall election. So what does Paul Ryan do since the election? In December he tweeted about how bad Obama’s tax hikes were for job growth and don’t fix the debt crisis. So what does he do today? He votes for the tax hikes that are bad for jobs and don’t fix the debt. The bill raises taxes on 77.1% of American households.
President Obama’s tax hikes are bad for jobs and don’t fix the debt crisis, as this chart shows. #SpendingIsTheProblem twitter.com/RepPaulRyan/st…

Behold: The ObamaCARE medical excise tax that began with 2013
It’s 2013 so it’s the year of the tax. Nevermind the weak Republicans caving on the fiscal cliff ‘negotiations’ and raising taxes on 77.1% of American households, there’s still the ObamaCARE taxes to deal with this year that started today. Here’s one example, the ObamaCARE medical excise tax:
Fiscal cliff ‘deal’ gives Hollywood big tax incentives
Because, doesn’t Hollywood need more tax payer dollars? Part of the fiscal cliff pile of crap deal includes an extension “special expensing rules for certain film and television productions” which were meant to expire in 2011.
Weeper Boehner votes yes on tax hikes – crap sandwich fiscal cliff bill passes House 257 TO 167
Game Over. The Republicans in the House have caved just as expected, and the so called ‘fiscal cliff’ bill with 41:1 tax hikes to spending cuts has passed the ‘Republican’ controlled House. The Weeper or Speaker of the House who normally doesn’t vote on bills decided to push away from the scotch bottle and vote yes on the tax hikes. The media of course is in love with this, but is anyone really surprised that the Republicans caved? That’s all they ever do. So called conservative, Paul Ryan also voted yes on this crap. The final vote in the House was 257 TO 167. Just 151 Republicans voted against with 85 actually voting for the bill. Just 16 Democrats voted against the bill with 172 voting for it.
Fiscal cliff bill passes Senate – $15 billion in spending cuts with $620 billion in tax hikes 41:1 ratio
So this is what Obama calls a ‘balanced approach’ eh? The Senate has passed the fiscal cliff bill. The bill contains a whopping $620 in tax hikes and a pitiful $15 billion in spending cuts, a whopping 41:1 ratio. I’m a bit tipsy as I type this since there’s still about an hour to go until 2013 here, but I imagine I’m not as tipsy as John Boehner. The death tax goes up, the dividend tax goes up, and those evil people and small businesses who dare make over $400,000 per year now will be taxed at 39.6% per year. Sequestration has been punted for 2 months which means we will be back at this same game in March. The bill passed the Senate 89-8. Just seven Republicans and 3 Democrats voted against this crap sandwich The Republicans voting against the bill included: Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Charles Grassley, Mike Lee and Richard Shelby. The Democrats were Marxists Ben Cardin, Tom Harkin and Michael Bennet. Read more
Out going Senator Jon Kyl – U.S. Senate will attempt to vote on fiscal cliff tonight, but still work to be done
Oh goodie. It looks like the Senate is getting ready to pass the ‘fiscal cliff’ tax hike, zero spending cut deal for New Year’s Eve. It’s almost like watching the the ball drop in Times Square tonight!
FLASH: U.S. Senate will attempt to vote on fiscal cliff Monday night, but still work to be done – Sen. Kyl

Happy New Year! $1 Trillion in ObamaCare tax hikes starting tommorow, regardless of income level or fiscal-cliff
Well it looks like the whole fiscal-cliff drama is going to go on beyond New Years day. After Obama’s arrogant, snotty press conference earlier today in which the media presstitutes cheered on their Messiah, Republicans are pissed off, and there will be no vote in the House today to do anything about the Bush tax cuts.
House Republicans say chamber won’t vote on any #fiscalcliff deal today: apne.ws/Vfsxha -AB
— The Associated Press (@AP) December 31, 2012
Regardless of what eventually happens (and you know the Republicans will eventually cave,) taxes are going on up EVERYTHING as of tomorrow, thanks to ObamaCARE. The bill that Nancy Pelosi said we had to pass to see what’s in it will include the Medical device tax of 2.3 percent. This tax will be levied against companies regardless if they turn a profit or not for the coming year. This also means you will be paying more for any medical device you may use, regardless of what you income level is.
Another Obamacare tax starting in 2013 is the Flex Account Tax. This is expected to affect between 30-35 million Americans who use a pre-tax Flexible Spending Account (FSA) at work to pay for their family’s basic medical needs will face a new government cap of $2500. This will affect people of all income levels as well.
For those evil ‘rich’ people who make $200,000 or more per year, their investment tax is going way thanks to ObamaCARE. Capital Gains taxes are going up from 15% to 23.8% and dividends are going from 15% to 43.4%.

Minority Leader RINO Mitch McConnell announces agreement on all the tax issues in the ‘fiscal cliff’ measure – NO spending cuts
And there you go. The Republicans fold like a cheap suit. Mitch McConnell has announced that Republicans and Democrats have agreed on the ‘fiscal-cliff’ tax measures, in which tax rates will ‘officially’ go up on those making $400,000 per year and couples/small businesses making $450,000. The deal will include NO spending cuts of any kind. and does nothing about sequestration.
Minority Leader McConnell tells Senate he can announce agreement on all the tax issues in the ‘fiscal cliff’ measure.
— Mark Knoller (@markknoller) December 31, 2012
Instead, McConnell wants to wait on spending cuts and find a ‘smarter’ way to fight spending. So yet again the so called ‘balanced approach’ includes tax hikes and no spending cuts. Obama shoves it int he face of Republicans and they cower to him like an abused child. we don’t have two parties in this country anymore. The Democrats and Republicans are both equal.

ObamaCare could force Little Sisters of the Poor out of the US because of mandate
Great job again America re-electing Obama and giving the Democrats more seats in the Senate. ObamaCare can’t be repealed and now the consequences of ‘passing the bill so you could find out what’s in it’ are starting. In under 2 weeks, taxes on EVERYONE will go up, regardless of the so called fiscal cliff. Thanks to the tax on medical devices, real estate transactions tax and medicare payroll tax, all Americans of all incomes will be hit somehow. It’s gotten so bad that the Little Sisters of the Poor could be forced to leave the US because of the ObamaCARE mandate.
